The hosts are helpful and friendly! It’s a bit of a walk down to the Old Town but excellent exercise! We loved the balcony with ocean view and the room was very comfortable! Free Parking across the street was wonderful.

Loved our stay here! The apartment is run by a lovely family who greeted us upon check in and check out. It's located about a 10 minute walk from the old town (yes, many stairs), and a 15 minute walk from the water. We felt it was a good location to be central to both the town and the beach, but would understand the appeal to stay in the old town for less of a trek in and out for drinks or dinners. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable! The bed was comfy, AC was great, and having the mini fridge was great for keeping water, drinks and snacks!

Great hosts, very accommodating to checking in earlier and provided the necessary amenities. Hvar is very hilly so there are many stairs / hills on the way to this property from the main part of town, so that is something to consider if you have lots of luggage although a taxi can also be hired

This was a very good stay just 15 minutes out of the main town. Like most accommodations out of city centre, you will have a good leg workout walking up the city steps to reach these apartments! The room was very clean, very good value, good air conditioner, and very practical shared kitchen on the ground floor. Our hosts were absolute gems, very kind to us even with a language barrier. Honestly the only "complaint" I could have was that I could find green tea but not coffee. First world problems, indeed! :-) I would definitely stay here again next time I come to Hvar.

The place is family-owned and run, so you can meet the owners. The room was super clean and it had everything I needed, they even provided me beach towels. It is just like 5-10 min form the centre, so it is very well located. I will recommend it

So we arrived on the island of Hvar via the TP Line catamaran ferry from Brac. No need for a taxi transfer as it’s walkable, but brace yourself for the climb of steps in order to gain the necessary height. Apparently the island of Hvar is the party island, so be mindful of that! The apartment was lovely with affective AC! We took a water taxi to Robinson island and spent a lovely day there. The sea is so clear and beautiful to swim in. So we would recommend Villa Lacman for value for money and location.

Villa Lacman was such a good find and such a bargain! Sad to only stay for 2 nights the room was so lovely. Nice big room with space for luggage and unpacking clothes. The shower was very good. The room was well lit and there were lots of places to hang things. Very comfortable! We found the mattress a bit soft for us, but that's a personal preference as we prefer a firm one back home.

Vila Lacman is a family run small boutique hotel on the hillside west of the castle (Foritca), and just above the beach club. A short walk to the square (Trg) and the port (luka) of Hvar. we discovered you can take a long set of stairs straight up to the road the hotel is on (a difficult hike with luggage ) or walk along the harbor front go right past the cafe up a short set of stairs to a walkway that goes behind an old church tower. An easy route that is very panoramic too. The room was small, but very reasonable, a lovely balcony with a partial view of the bay. Downstairs was a cabana type kitchen we used to make a lovely dinner from food purchased at the local market. We dined on the patio in front of the kitchen under vines and lime trees that were very peaceful. The grocery store, a few hundred feet up the street, includes a second-floor restaurant with excellent foud and sunset views.
