"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights...

It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! We would have loved to bring in some fresh air and sit outside on the cabin’s deck!"
