「20 min easy walk to town. Hotel rooms clean and spacious and good value for money. (beds a bit too firm for us!!) Due to new legislation for booking in, ( passport details, email etc)it took a while as chap at reception didn't speak English and my Spanish is poor( thank you google translate!)we got there in the end. Restaurant, cafeteria next to hotel, good food , excellent coffee, excellent staff.」

「Es un hotel de carretera, pero honesto, limpio y confortable. La zona alrededor preciosa, con sendas para pasear y mucha naturaleza. A medio camino de Antequera y Málaga」

「Reservado para dormir yo solo 3 noches, me proporcionaron una habitación de dos camas. La habitación daba a la plaza de Coso Viejo, con muy buenas vistas. Si eres de despertarse temprano, perfecto, pero si te gusta alargar el dormir, la calle aún siendo pequeña, tiene bastante tráfico, y con pavimento adoquinado es un poco molesto, sobre todo a partir de las 8:30h. Baño bien, un poco picada la bañera y el grifo para regular el agua bastante duro, pero nada como para poner una reseña...

「An excellent stay at the Hostal Duran. The place is clean and well manged by the lovely owners and staff. The Hostal is centrally located with good public transport links, the bus stop for the Caminito del Rey is only a hundred metres away and the train station is around 15 minutes walk or a bus from the same above stop, all restaurants and bars are on your doorstep. A recommendation, choose a room with a panoramic view (Terrace), the views to the castle are wonderful.」

「The hosts are very responsive and very nice. The place is spotless and the pool is amazing. If you come by train, the station is right across the hotel but you won’t hear it at night as it stops early. Visit the beautiful city of Alora and perfect stay to visit Caminito del Rey! Would recommend.」
