Disappointing
No attempt was made to welcome us or explain anything about the hotel or rooms. Room was spacious if rather run down and not exactly clean. I could not access TV channels on the TV just radio. The location is rather remote but as we were just staying overnight for a wedding reception elsewhere that was not an issue.

Very clean and looked after rooms. However, they are not hardly sound proof so very inconsiderate and very late night noisy neigbours disturbed us but no night staff on duty to complain to.

As soon as I got there and received the keys to the room in which we were staying, and opened the door the smell was absolutely disgusting and foul, we also had a wet room which was awful paint off tiles no bath towels just hand towels. And not clean at all. we got there at 9.40 pm from 1am on the road and just wanted a bath or a decent shower, but just couldn’t stay there it was to bad with the smell and finding out this was a disabled room, I’m not disabled and wasn’t it wasn’t very clean very clean, i belt insulted that I wasn’t told about the room, I have a cleaning business and don’t know how they can possibly rent this room out, so I went to hand the keys back the staff was ignorant in helping me at all, didn’t see my problem with the room especially when cost nearly £70 and I’ve stayed in a lot cleaner rooms for this price, so I left and had to travel 2 1/2 hrs home as it was to late to get anywhere as it was past 10pm, I would never book with them again after this and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Adequate for a short stay
Warm, clean room but a bit sparse. No wardrobe just a rail and hangers that had obviously been left by previous guests. The bathroom was dated and needs a refurb. We requested a walk-in shower prior to our stay but this was ignored completely (ie not even told none available) but were informed on arrival that they dont have any! Comfy, clean bed but the bright green (emergency exit) light right over the bed was very disturbing (and maybe a little unnessary) considering there was another one right outside the door. Plus the emergency exit light in the bathroom seemed a bit bizzar! Just one more thing, we have stayed in the same room several months ago and reported a missing bulb in the wall light and it was still missing?! Good value for a couple of nights but wouldn't consider it comfortable enough for a longer stay.
