Would stay again!
Great location and terrific staff who organised a driver for a tour to the tombs and back to the airport. Great pool and the location is close to all food and bars, but quiet as it's in a little lane off the main street.

Not 3.5 stars. More like 2 star.
Hotel was a disappointment. Service was terrible, rooms were old and musty. Bed was rock and pillow was so thin I might as well not had it. Location was good, right in the heart of fabulous nightlife but that’s about the best thing I can say about our stay.

Give it a miss
Great location, but not the best value for your money when compared to another place we stayed in Hue. Our room was “tired”, needed a new shower head that wouldn’t spray all over the place (hubby actually fixed it), and the bed was downright uncomfortable. Breakfast was fine, but service was a bit terse. Pool was okay, but only a few places to sit. In all, I would suggest you look elsewhere. There are tons of other options in Hue.

It’s a great hotel, because of the staff. It’s old, but has been updated in some ways. The room was clean and my enclosed shower was so nice to not have a wet floor!The breakfast was awesome, pick as much as you want and dont miss the chocolate banana pancakes. They arranged a good city tour...fun, informative, well worth the money... swimming pool is dated and needs a bit of work, but it is a swimming pool and really needed it after a hot day touring...the staff went beyond to help me...I left my pillow in the lobby and didnt realize until I was in Phang Nha...I emailed them, and they sent to through on the next bus...so kind!

We had a two night stay in Hue. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We found the room to be average. A small space, almost clean sheets and a dodgy door. The shower had not been cleaned as it still had soap scum on the walls. On a positive, breakfast was tasty with a couple of options. It was an okay experience but wouldn't stay again.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was great - even one day when my partner didn't come down for breakfast they made him a spread to take back to the room. Check in was also great they brought tea and fruit. Got a full nights sleep which after traveling for 2 months I found doesn't happen often. Room was clean only thing was it was damp...tbf it was raining constantly but the room itself was damp

Great hospitality!
There were two outstanding things about this hotel. One was the breakfasts. You can order two a la carte entrees and two beverages. The quality of the food was excellent. All items were freshly made. The second thing was the hospitality. You are greeted with a place of fresh fruit and tea. Sue was the hostess. She provided a wealth of information and went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed. Although the accommodation is mediocre, her hospitality, and the great breakfasts, made this a memorable stay.

Great little gem of a hotel
Great little hotel with very nice staff. We have stayed here many times while on business. Quiet street just off the busy walking street. Simple clean hotel with pool. We love it here.

Friendly staff and close to everything
Friendly staff who were more than happy to offer any advice or suggestions about what to do. The city tour they suggested was good but we didn’t realise it was with a whole bus load of people so wasn’t our scene but we enjoyed the sights. Great breakfast every morning, highly suggest the banana pancake with chocolate!!!

Perfect for our one night stay in Hue. Only downfall we could note was that the room was a little dated but clean. Really impressed with location, staff and breakfast offered. Would stay again.

initial problems but became a pleasant stay
When I arrived I was told I did not have a booking and that I hadn't prepaid for my stay. Then it emerged there were three hotels with the same name and that they had changed my booking and put me into one of the others (and they agreed I had prepaid). Thereafter my stay looked up and was an enjoyable experience.

Not a great choice and not much value for the offer. Our room was poorly laid out and the bathroom whilst clean was in need of repairs. Breakfast was not great and overall we wouldn't ever be going back to this hotel

I did not enjoy the location or standard of the hotel. The bed was very hard. The room was very hot and the aircon barely worked. It was probably what you get for the money paid.

The room was spacious, but nothing exciting. The wifi was the worst I have ever encountered, I had to sit in the entrance way just to load google, otherwise it would drop out... also found a small spider in my bed during the day luckily so I noticed it. Also the toilet blocked up quite easily.

An older hotel but still worth the stay.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. Great assist with tourist attractions. Helped arrange a private tour of some area "must see" sights, and at a reasonable price. Same helpfulness getting a car to the airport. Breakfast was simple, but good. Eggs made to order was wonderful. Perfect location for walking. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Room was small but fine for me. Building is older so don't expect perfection.

The staff were amazing and let UA leave our bags all day after check out. Also let us shower and gave us tea after check out before our sleeper train to Hanoi. great room except the hot water wasn't working properly so we skipped showering

Good base point for exploring Hue, pool ++
This place was definitely a good base point to explore Hue. It's right near most of the hotels, bars and restaurants in a totally walkable neighborhood. The pool was definitely an awesome thing to have on such hot days. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to help with anything. And you can't beat a 50 cent can of beer from the reception. Can't beat the price, either. Only issue was the bed. I know beds in Asia are more firm than most, and I even like a firm bed, but this one was TOO firm, even for me. Almost as if it was a rock solid piece that was just covered by a thin covering. Can't speak to other rooms, only to mine, but if you dislike a firm bed, then don't stay here...if you can handle a very firm bed, then this will be a great and affordable place to stay.

The hotel was hard to find the first time, it's located on an alley and there is a building under construction on the road having a sign with the same hotel name. There was some heavy selling of tours during check in but I was not pressured during the rest of my stay. My room did not look like the online pictures I saw during booking, the bathroom should have had an enclosed shower but had a super small tub instead. The tub was so small you could not sit in it and had no curtain so the floor got wet after a shower. Breakfast was ok but limited, you choose several items from a set menu.

Hotel staff were very helpful with bookings and suggesting activities and tours. The prices they set/quote are very fair and reasonable (not expensive). The breakfast was great. On arrival they gave us welcoming drinks and fruit (complimentary), and the staff always greeted you. All and all, a great place to stay!

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Convenient Spot
As soon as we arrived we were given a complimentary fruit plate and juices, and given a small map of the area with restaurant, sight, and tour suggestions (but no pressure). We were given an upgrad on our room (should not be expected, but certainly appreciated). We didn't happen to use their pool but saw others enjoying it. We did happen to use their dining room and ate delicious complimentary breakfasts there each morning. They offer a wide selection of Western an Vietnamese foods, as well as coffees, juices, etc. From check-in to checkout, all the staff from desk, to restaurant, to housekeeping, were friendly, helpful, attentive, and polite. Desk staff, both day and night, were excellent. We live in hotels pretty much full-time, and would recommend these folks to all.

We stayed here for 1 night. Staff were very welcoming. ..cold drink and fruit on arrival....beds big and very comfortable. ..fantastic to have a pool to relax in after being very hot. Breakfast menu good and cooked to order choices were great. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice budget hotel
The hotel offered nearly everything one needs. The staff were very responsible and welcoming. In fact, they gave me juice and a banana upon arrival. They didn't rush me on anything. They did offer tours upon my arrival, but didn't push them. The room is small but sufficient. It does not have a safe, unfortunately. The pool is small but very nice. Used heavily by the guests. The breakfast is generous and good. I don't know why some people complained about this hotel in the reviews. It was a good experience all around for me. And, one of the cheapest hotels that had a pool.

Alleyway Hotel, but not what you would think
We arrived here at 10 pm, which was not a good idea. When our airport taxi driver with no English wanted to drop us off in front of a long, dark alley, I was furious. Lucky for use, my eagle eyed son saw the hotel sign and I finally let the driver go. Once inside, we were met by a friendly English speaking staff who took us up to our very spacious family room. The air conditioning was great and the room well appointed for the price. Our only complaint about the room was the mattresses, which are old and needed to be replaced. The swimming pool was small but lovely - a respite for my children and wife from the June heat. The breakfast was not a buffet, but instead cooked to order and delicious. Our favorites were the breakfast pho and the omelettes, and the coffee was the best we've had in a hotel in Vietnam. As three star hotels go, this one was good, but not excellent in comparison to others in its price range. Kudos for its great breakfast, nice pool, quiet alleyway location, and relative proximity to the sights. Suggestions for improvements are to update the mattresses and update the hotel sign at the mouth of the alleyway. All that being said, we would still recommend this hotel to our friends. It was a good price for the level of service, room size, quiet setting and yummy breakfast.

Great location in the heart of restaurant and shopping area, close to river front. Very nice to have a swimming pool in downtown area - small but clean and refreshing. Breakfast very good, we could order whatever we wanted off the menu. Staff were exceedingly friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms and showers near pool were great on checkout day, the hotel let us stay to swim and use the facilities until our flight. Rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable.
