Very friendly staff. Room had a comfortable bed and a large TV, microwave, and fridge. Very convenient that there is an awesome classic Wisconsin Supper Club right next door with a sidewalk connecting to the hotel. Left early in the morning so didn't check anything else out.

I arrived early but they put me on a third floor room facing interstate. Traffic. Breakfast is sub-par for this level of hotel.

St. Croix Suites sounds nice, the pictures look great online, but the property is disgusting and the others who were staying there... Maybe down on their luck or whatever it maybe, gave a off a vibe that you are going to get mugged, and there are drugs being used and sold all over the property. The guy at the front desk, behind what must be bulletproof glass, was a nice guy, but do not stay at this property. The and our room smelled like someone had been smoking in them for three years straight and the "security" door to your room wasn't stopping anybody from coming in.

While the staff was very helpful, there was no coffee in the room, no closet, no extra toilet paper, only 1 bath towel for 2 people. Very disappointed.

This property could be a very nice place if some updates and extra cleaning was done. In the room I was in, there was no place to hang our clothes or coats. As for the bathroom, the sink was so yellow & something (looked like plaster) was where the soap is placed. As for the tub, very nice surround which was around a yellowish tub. Ok now the beds, I had to actually wonder if they had been changed since someone else was in there. The sheets looked like they were just thrown on the bed. The bottom sheet was sort of on the corners while the top sheet was just set up top. It was not tucked in. The outside, lobby and halls need some major repairs and cleaning.

Room was dirty, water spots on the ceiling, no coffee maker or place to sit and work in the room, no shower toiletries provided other than towels and a mouse trap behind the door. Certainly not what the pictures online displayed.

Poor WiFi on the weekend. No whirlpool with the pool. Stayed in a remodeled room. The new rooms have a very small bathrooms and extremely small shower. The floor made noises in areas when you walked on it. No regular housekeeping services unless you asked for them.

Due to safety reasons at the property choose to not stay at this property. Check the local news regarding this property. This is more of a long term rental property than a hotel.

Check in personnel was friendly. Amble room in parking lot. Room was a bit crowded with a small not running refrigerator that had been replaced but not removed from the room. About 1' of molding near bottom side of door was missing leaving daylight. Grateful it wasn't snowing and Blowing ... LOL. Room had smell of cigarette smoke. The price was right for only needing to be in / at the room for sleeping. Knew what we were getting before we booked & arrived.
