It was a last minute stay since we were still without power. I forgot the name of the young man that checked us in but he was gracious and courteous and provided us with a pleasant check in process. He even delivered extra blankets and pillows for us! I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Staff

This was my friends & I second time staying here this year. The staff is very friendly. The only issues i had is that we saw roaches in the kitchen this last time & there was no pan available. I'll stay here again because of the wonderful staff.

Staff was very friendly. Room was nice. Breakfast had a good selection. Hallway was a little dirty. Carpets could use a good cleaning and trash was left in the hall the whole weekend we were there.

Low, Small Toilets that need an Upgrade

The only complaint I have is that the toilets are so small & sit very low. Ive stayed here 4 different times in the last 6 months & every room has the same small, low toilet. Please upgrade them to the higher button push toilets. Other than that, I qlwqys enjoy my stay.

While the staff were pleasant, the hotel is old and in disrepair. We had giant holes and stains on our carpet, the furniture was banged up, and the bathroom was in rough shape. My child commented, "this is gross". Definitely not up to Marriott's or my standards. Very disappointing.

We stayed here 2 nights . I walked out to my car with a few bags , the gentlemen at the front desk said “have a great day” no later than 10 min I walked back in , grabbed a coffee , and he asked “ are you staying here in a very condescending tone “ I said yes and held up my key and informed him I had just walked out 5 min ago: no apology or anything . Made me feel like I needed to prove to him I was a guest was disappointment , and lack of attention to the guests of the hotel . As someone who is the first person you see when you walk in the hotel , I would strongly consider training the front desk to be friendly and attentive to guests .

Flash back to 1996, you're 10 years old, taking a trip across the country with your parents. (4 hours away) They decide to spend a little extra for a night at the Residence, the pool is huge, your parents are in their own room, and it even has a fridge. Life is good. Fast forward to this weekend.... We easily find a place to park behind the Harley dealership, my bride and children stay in the vehicle so I can check us in after making reservations online. There is a police officer in the parking lot taking a report from someone, sounded like a theft issue from what I could hear. Get inside and there is a solo employee on the phone, looks up, but does not acknowledge me as a customer. She was dealing with a government employee looking for a discount. She leaves for a minute to go and fetch the manager from her smoke break, and I quickly realize why the lobby smells like a casino. Now they are both on the phone, still not acknowledging that I exist in front of them. Finally get some room keys, pull out the beat up mattress for the kiddos and check out the rest. Mold on the windowsills, some weird deformity in the middle of the main mirror, and a bathroom door that clears the toilet by a couple inches. I am about 6ft tall and was eye level with the shower head and bumped my arms on the ceiling when trying to use the RV sized shower. Pool is tiny, trash cans were full. We regret not staying somewhere else, but there aren't many options with bedrooms.
