Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and Unacceptable Hotel Policies
I stayed for a week at La Quinta Inn in Katy, TX, across from Katy Mills Mall, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The staff was not very friendly or helpful, and some of the hotel policies were completely unreasonable.
To my surprise, housekeeping does not clean rooms daily unless you go to the lobby and specifically request it. They also don’t make the beds, take out the trash, or replace towels unless asked. This is unacceptable for any hotel, especially for guests staying several days.
Additionally, the breakfast was exactly the same every single day, with no variety at all. It became boring and unappetizing very quickly.
The most frustrating part was having to repeatedly go to the front desk to request basic services that should be standard in any hotel stay. This lack of care for guests' comfort shows poor management and low service standards.
I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable or well-managed place to stay.
