I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The room was clearly outdated and had a persistent musty smell that made it uncomfortable from the start. The walls were in need of fresh paint, and the curtain rod was broken, with noticeable stains on the curtains themselves.
The bathroom was also in poor condition. There was excessive caulking around fixtures, seemingly used to cover up old, deteriorated caulking rather than make proper repairs. Overall, it felt like a quick fix rather than a maintained space.
The biggest issue was the bed. It was very uncomfortable, with a noticeable lump running down the center of the mattress. It’s clear that the mattress is overdue for replacement.
I expected much better from a Holiday Inn & Suites in a downtown location. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others.
