「Great hotel to spend a couple of days, there are several activities you can do in the lake , I stayed for 1 night , I could have easily pushed for 2-3 nights」

「Although it is a good attempt to update an old motel right on the lake it is done on the cheap. They lack amenities that should be included for an accommodation at this price point. Broken outdoor chairs, lumpy and uncomfortable double beds, discarded fishing line laying about, goose poop everywhere. It needs more attention and upgrades to warrant the $150+ per night rates. I would not recommend.」

「I have a family of five and looked forward to staying at such a high rated hotel. We booked the suite and at first everything looked wonderful, but as we settled in we found that the fridge was unplugged and would take 8 hours to just get cold. As we were only staying one night this prevented us from keeping our children’s snacks and drinks refrigerated. The kids were very much looking forward to swimming in the indoor pool, but that didn’t work out as the smell of chlorine was overpowering and...

「The Holiday Inn Express was very well located. It was clean, the staff was always helpful, and the room was well 'laid out' and had a great shower. The breakfast was excellent and the staff there went out of their way to make things special. No surprises, just what we needed.」

「The bathroom had black stuff coming out of the hand rail in the shower. The stopper was laid out. The AC unit was leaking on the floor. The bathroom fan and a weird blue light in it. Our room number was wrote in pencil on the wall. Walking by other rooms and they had plates with room numbers. Requested a lake view. Did not get one, told that they were full. The parking lot only had 15 cars max. No buses or anything. Breakfast was very bland and not appealing.」
