"So - when we arrived, the manager Nicolas was amazing. We were early, no problem… he gave us a newly refurbished room which whilst small was excellent. We asked about going into Bordeaux and he spend time talking us through how best to do it, where to go etc. he couldn’t do enough for us and all ..."

Not as welcoming as usual.
"Hôtel is great but reception was not at all friendly. Possibly a new member of staff but no acknowledgement as we arrived. Continued writing something on a piece of paper and was not friendly. Professional I guess but not at all welcoming."
