Great location. Friendky and helpful staff. Very clean. Bed was comfortable with very nuce linen and towels. Included breakfast was also very good. Parking is provided free and there are many parking spots nearby. We'll be staying here again upon our return to Faial

Hotel do Canal is our favorite hotel in Faial. The staff are warm and friendly. The accommodations are nice and spacious. It is pretty handicap accessible and offers onsite gym, tours, multi-lingual staff, and delightful restaurant! We had dinner to which no detail had been overlooked and a great wine list was available. We also always enjoy a delightful breakfast with local offerings and general European cuisine. We already look forward to our return!

Comfortable room. Wish we had a double bed instead of two twin beds. Being off season, wished we were offered an upgrade. Sofa in room quite out dated and not suitable for sitting. Spa area is awkward…a pool in the centre of a room with no working jets. None of the saunas were open. Nice public seating areas with spectacular view of Pico! Pool table and small library offered great place to wait out the rain and have a little relaxing time. Surprised to be billed for drinking the water left in the room! Desk staff were polite and extremely helpful. A good stay.

Hotel Du Canal is a beautiful property. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. We had a view of the Harbor and it was a short walk to just about everything in town. The staff was so courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
