The kitchenette was adorable. The room was very clean, with sufficient towels. However, they only had decaff coffee available in the room. I always enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Staff said they are discontinuing the coffee in the room and now they have ready coffee by the reception area. Not a big deal, as things are hard for a lot of people. Did not visit the hot tub on this visit. Friendly staff.
stayed here the same day as the person who left a 2/10 review. not sure what they were talking about. the value for the price was great. my room and the rest of the hotel was very clean (and smelled normal!). the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. it's also very clear when you book that it's an independent hotel, the travel lodge sign is really irrelevant if you can follow simple directions! all in all it was a really lovely stay and i would return. the bed was super comfy too! and great location.
You will be surprised when you pull up looking for the Rychter and instead find a worn out Travel lodge. The name change must be an attempt to escape the many horrible reviews of the old name. The photos online have clearly been touched up to hide the worn out appearance. Once inside the room was clean, and the beds ok. There were tiny ants crawling around in the bathroom. The building had a stale smoky murk lingering in all common areas. We will certainly never visit again
We really like that the room was spacious, that there was a full kitchen with retro appliances, an indoor hot tub and pool. Both the pool and hot tub were clean and in good shape for the year of the building. You really can’t beat the price of this location.
I love that is it family owned because the way they treat their customers are special. Webhad a great stay. Thank you.

Great staff! Laura and Tiffany are doing yeoman service, but as the season is starting they could use additional help to keep up.
It is evident, in spite of the best efforts of the staff mentioned, that the owners are cutting corners when doing maintenance to the building. There is a lot of room for improvement.
That said, Laura & Tiffany manage to keep the pool and hot tub in pristine condition. We enjoyed the use of both.

My main problem was the musty smell of the room and heavily stained carpet. Bed was comfortable and aside from junkie chairs in room, it was ok. I was glad for chairs because I didn’t want to put luggage on carpet.
All over everything is perfect in hotel according to this price range and hot tub and pool you can count it as a complimentary with stay. I stayed there 2 nights and i enjoyed alot. Thank you Rychter Hotel team.
The room was alright, I wouldn’t say it was really cleaned but it was probably wiped down. The beds were comfortable enough, and the room large enough for our two toddlers to run around! However the bathroom was tiny, and only one person fits in there at a time! The tubs are very very slippery and shallow. Hot tub is warm not hot, and the pool is FROZEN. The staff we had the pleasure of meeting were nice and fairly nonchalant, helped if you asked question but there’s an older white man who was quite rude and almost made up rules after we’d been there 3 nights already. The building is not very safe or disabled accessible.. we literally watched a woman crack her skull open on the step out of the front door. The hotel is very very old, we had a fantastic weekend. But spend that extra $20-$30 if you want that little bit of a nicer stay for sure!
We needed a place to stay for a few days. Somewhere we could bring our dogs. The bed was cozy and the sheets were clean. The shower was hot and there were plenty of towels. There was a pool. Bonus! Hot tub. Coffee!! just what we needed!

Poor internet and TV options. Very old hotel and hot... needs many upgrades but its comfy and price is ok.
It’s what you’d expect , old but clean. The desk staff kind of just disappear and aren’t available mid evening which was strange and there were no clean, but many dirty, towels by the pool.
Very pleasant stay above expectations. The pool and sauna are both great and are open 24h . Free coffee and tea 24h also. Very cool staff. Decorations and furniture are outdated but we loved the vibe.

Clean room. Barely any staff. Amenities like the pool are well maintained but seem run down.
Communication was great with keypad and keycards easy to access.
Room was not ready for us (beds not made, partially cleaned). Bookings or room allocation was obviously disorganized, as other guests as didn’t have rooms ready at check in. Had to book a motel elsewhere in town at the last minute which cost me another $50. 😢 Motel was apologetic and responded quickly to my request via Expedia for a refund and I am awaiting that transaction.
