"This is a beautiful property overlooing the river. The staff was very helpful. We requested to change rooms away from the elevator. The request was honored. The dinner from the bar was good. We sat outside and it was lovely. We chose not to eat breakfast there because it was so expensive. There are places in Hood River which are reasonably priced, but not as beautiful. We really enjoyed the hotel and recommend it."

"This property is family owned and has been for 3 generations. They take pride in providing great service, clean and comfortable accommodations with a live plant in each room. They have had groundskeepers who have lovingly tended to a beautiful flower garden for the past 13 years. I highly recommend this lovely hotel."
