「This B&B was a great alternative to the Homestead resort itself. It was close enough to easily walk to the resort within a few minutes, very reasonable in cost, and the proprietors are wonderful people. 「The pictures show it as a flowery place to stay, lots of blooming plants. Going in early spring those flowers haven't bloomed yet so I was a little disappointed but understood. The closeness of all the houses was neat however you have to drive a bit to find gas and food if you don't make a reservation at the Water Wheel. Living in a city this was a big change for me. I would have like to have more insight on what other locations were good for visiting for lunch or dinner.」

「Basic hotel but it gets the job done. No complaints other than they should have a coffee maker in the rooms. Cute 24 hour diner that operates as the front desk next door. Yeah it’s kinda kitschy but nice if you want an early/late meal or milkshake. 」

「This bed and breakfast is run by a lovely young couple who were a delight to talk to. I had numerous questions before we arrived and they were answered promptly. The rooms were clean and charming. The history of the building is fascinating and there was a lot of literature on hand about the area. The breakfast was delicious, a recipe from the owner's grandmother who was also the previous owner. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!」

「There was no one staffing the hotel for check in. None of the phone numbers worked to contact anyone. I got another hotel and I guess I just eat the cost. Don’t book this hotel.」
