Awesome hosts & view

I highly recommend Angler's Roost in Homer, AK. The property was clean, my room was most comfortable, and the hosts -- Emily & Jared -- were most hospitable. I will definitely return!

Didn't end up staying the night, because this property listing is misleading on Expedia. This is not a hotel nor is it a stand-alone house/cottage. This is an addition built in the garage of someone's home, and it is very noisy. You can hear every step in the main house, and even water running through the walls. Not at all a relaxing or inviting place to stay. The listing should be changed so that it is accurate and will attract people who are okay living in other people's homes during vacation. Finally, after we left and had to rebook at a new place (which cost more), I was charged not only the original full price (even though I had just booked that same day so they would not have had any booking that night with or without me booking), but they charged me an ADDITIONAL $100 over the price I was supposed to pay. This is absurd, since there should have been no cleaning or anything else. We stayed less than 20 minutes.

My husband and I really enjoyed our overnight stay at Anglers Roost! The room was perfect! Very clean and attention to detail. Even our room had a spectacular view and host Emily is delightful!!! Location is easy to find and accessible to everything. We would most definitely stay there again.

The Bed & Breakfast was really great. The view from our room overlooking Kachemak Bay was spectacular. Room was nice and bed really comfortable. On top of all that, the hostess and his other half were very nice. We did our own thing with no expectations to be other than guests. The breakfast was quite tasty. On our next trip to Homer, we will stay here again.

The walls in the house are SUPER thin—could hear everyone. Someone was up @ 4:30 & started their car outside our window, then everyone was up @ 5:45AM on a Saturday morning, talking & laughing. Dirty bath mats/rugs & pee on toilet seat. Upon “checkin,” no one knew who we were or which room was ours. Ridiculous for $172!!!
