"Ocean not visible to room, worst is the staff they don’t treat the guests well, they looks very unhappy and they thro their emotion to guests. Staff in dining area and not helpful or welcoming "

"Breakfast was great with many choices. Hotel is in the good location with private beach however the hotel looks run down and require major renovation. Air condition in my room was poor and room was very warm."

"This is a great hotel, I really couldn’t fault it. Scrupulously clean, and the staff are fantastic, friendly, courteous and welcoming. The laundry deserves a special mention, they ironed my complicated trousers perfectly, far better than I can do it! Well done."

"Probably, if not the best hotel in Colombo. I was assigned to a room that faces the sea as well as Biera Lake. The hotel, which is also accessible through one of the largest mall is a huge bonus. This gives plenty of options for food. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Certainly will return if I’m headed back to Colombo. "

"At check-in, we were told our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after check in time, when I questioned why that was the case for a “5 star” hotel, they miraculously found another room available to give us, figure that! There were plenty of friendly staff, but they were not attentive. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant - good quality and nice food. Overall, I would say “faded glory” in style and character - may not stay again here."
