"Great accommodation. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice clean rooms with comfy beds. Tasty continental breakfast available when it suits you. Useful parking and good location. Nice bar with friendly locals, restaurant not reopened yet but plenty of food options a short drive away. New owners just taken over so it'll probably get even better as they update more rooms and expand their offering. Will definitely stay there again."
"Exactly what a short simple stay should be . Immaculately clean , well organised , smooth operation , everything in good repair , quaint local history provided ."
"This is an older hotel, in a lovely spot next to the harbour, nice places to walk. The staff were super helpful, getting a taxi for the morning afterwards and the restaurant menu had several great choices for both vegetarian and Celiac (gluten free) clearly marked. A really good choice of dishes all round, to be honest that all sounded excellent for a small hotel, surprisingly! I had the salmon and it was delicious!"
"Booked Mon-Fri March 26. Good size property, in the middle of town although not much there for a town really. Was very underwhelming upon approach, right next to a public car park and what can only be described as a factory building site behind and an alley way up the other side of the house which made us feel a little anxious. The house itself was clearly modernised recently, is spacious with huge bedrooms and large T.V's in each. Kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area comfortable and nice being open plan. There are some gripes though. It wasnt particularly clean, cobwebs on the walls, and dirty skirting boards in the small toilet this wasnt clean in our opinion. (My wife is a cleaner so we have high standards) Cables hanging down from the T.V at toddler grabbing height so a concern. The extractor in the En-Suite doesnt work, the matress in one of the bedfooms far exceeds the bedsize making rolling out of bed quite an event. There are no curtains on the huge windows, just vertical blinds which block zero sunlight so if you are a light sleeper, good luck.
Holyhead is a pretty grim area and its a shame because the house is quite decent and doesnt match its surroundings (Apart from the clearly dull grey external coloured houses) We should have done our research a bit more thoroughly on the location as outside of Holyhead town it is very pretty but a long treck from the main tourist parts in Anglesea and North Wales. Bedding and towels are old,we actually left a day early."
"Absolutely Phenomenal! We loved everything about this beautiful flat within a larger house. It is situated between the Holyhead Rock and the Sea. With farm lands, sheep n goats n horses. The furniture and well built home is something quite worthy and spectacular. "
"The property is lovely, but to be honest the area really isnt the best, there could some communications on where you can park, where the rubbish and recycling bins are. I did try to contact someone about these things but had no reply."
After visiting Ellins Tower Visitor Centre, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Trearddur Bay. Stroll along the area's beaches or simply enjoy its bars.
