The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we travel, but it hasn't curbed our appetite for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to cope with the new challenges of traveling:

• Investigate what rules and restrictions apply to both your origin and destination. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so make sure you check before you lock in your flight.
• Wear a face mask during airport screening. A TSA employee will require you to lower your mask temporarily to verify your identity.

• Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA officer will need to open and touch your bag for inspection.
