Marco Polo Motel

10/10 Excellent

"Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did not need a car as the hotel was located on a rapid bus service line. An East-West bus is also available. The noise from the hyway did not bother me. Food available several blocks away. Some bathroom fixtures need attention but overall this hotel is good value. I would stay again."

"Redmond Inn is in a very convenient location and despite being close to the freeway and a major road it is surprisingly quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The included breakfast featured very good coffee (so important!) and the continental breakfast offerings were fairly standard. The waffles were OK. The housekeeping was minimal—they clean every other day, which is fine, but our second day was Sunday so we waited 3 days. When they came, I was disappointed to see the staff threw out my personal facial soap. In a friend’s neighboring room, the staff took the dirty laundry but didn’t replace it with clean, and also the bathroom outlet in her room didn’t work. All in all, it was an OK place to stay, just not terribly attentive."

"Renovation of a classic MOTEL of yesterday! Beyond my expectations!!!! No pool- no fitness center-no breakfast NO PROBLEM!!!! Staffed by a front desk clerk named JOY; who you will find a joy to meet. Parking excellent and secure. Great real world shopping and food Within walking distance. Not a 5-STAR HOTEL, But a beautiful FIND!!!!"

"Super friendly staff and a perfectly clean room, plus the bonus of a kitchenette. Was surprised by the comical $8 parking fee, which perhaps should have been included in the price, but not a big deal. I’d definitely stay again."

"Friendly staff, nice modestly priced hotel - totally clean, comfortable beds, etc. No hesitation staying again. Didn't notice anything out of place, dirty, unfriendly etc. Kind of wish they had a coffee bar and breakfast option based on the limited fooderies close by but there is a fridge with some healthy snacks and drinks which was very helpful!"
