Very nice and clean and new property. Plus, it had a great location with all rooms and ocean view. Nice, quick walk to Paakhaus (the best seafood restaurant in Iceland). Sadly, I had to leave before breakfast, but it smelled great.

Location and view

Centrally located in town with great view over the bay. The room and bathroom is on smaller size but good enough for a short stay. The best thing is the location and the view. Friendly staff. The breakfast is very expansive even in Iceland standard. Price value is not as good when comparing to other hotels.

This was our least favorite stay. Our tv was broke and staff, though they tried, couldn’t no fix. (They should have offered a new room. They offered a free drink at the bar. We were too tired) Bed was not very comfortable. There was nothing to do…no hot tub. Not a good restaurant across the street, though we did like their ice cream. Had to leave before breakfast. We stayed at so many better places for the price. The comparison surely effects my review.

This is our second stay here and we absolutely loved it, it was our wedding night. We were greeted by a lovely welcoming smile and congratulations from all the staff on reception. They then offered us a congratulatory drink (not expected ) but very much appreciated and was a lovely little extra . Then we got to our room , our room was lovely and clean , had an amazing view and another little surprise of congratulations in the room in the form of a hand written note and some macaroons . We went down for another drink and the staff were lovely and friendly , welcoming and kept checking on us that we were okay . Overall another brilliant visit , would highly recommend staying here .
