Hotellet har meget enkle rom uten nevneverdig luksus. Det de skorer på er veldig hyggelig personale både i resepsjon og restaurant. De har liten men veldig god meny og et godt utvalg av øl og vin. Prise for en tre retter 39 Eur er helt klart meget bra. Prise på overnatting er bra tatt i betraktning størrelsen på rommet. Kan anbefales hvis man ønsker et lavbusjett opphold.

muss man mal ausprobieren!

die Hotelanlage sticht heraus durch ihre neugotische Architektur und die dazu passende Einrichtung und Beleuchtung. Einzigartig. Die Zimmer sind eher nicht stylisch aber funktional. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Mitarbeiter sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich (Niederlande halt)

Buon hotel, soggiorno sfortunato

Hotel particolare, servizio ottimo. Ho avuto un problema con l’acqua della doccia (gelata) ma il personale è stato gentile anche se non poteva risolvere nell’immediato il problema. Unica nota, un potrò illuminazione in più durante la colazione sarebbe stata gradita

Bij aankomst kregen we een kamer toegewezen die recht onder "de verbouwing" en derhalve helemaal zaten vloer, bed meubels, kortom álles vol met plafond "gruis". We kregen een andere kamer een verdieping lager. Dat had helaas waarschijnlijk tot de gevolg dat we de volgende dag na een hele dag fietsen geconfronteerd werden met een kamer waar niets was gebeurt qua "housekeeping". Nog een tip waar denk ik alle vrouwen blij van zullen worden: hang een kleine spiegel boven het bureautje. Haren föhnen, opmaken e.d. kan dan daar ook gebeuren.

Goede ontvangst en vriendelijk personeel. Kamer goed uitgerust en netjes. Grote badkamer en voldoende handdoeken. Nadat ik zelf, te laat had laten weten dat ik het koud had in de kamer, werd me gezegd dat ik dit had moeten melden en dat ik dan direct een andere kamer had gekregen.

A bit remote, but otherwise really nice

A beautiful historical building. Nice staff. The room was small, but with a nice view to the old monastery (?) yard. the building is in a small park. Very relaxed, church-like atmosphere.

Nous sommes arrivés le soir vers 22:30 de Belgique, le gps n'a pas trouvé l'entrée de l'endroit nous avons dû demander à la seul et unique personne dehors à cette heure ci, très gentille d'ailleurs, il n'y avait aucune enseigne donc difficile à trouver. A l'entrée il fallait sonner vu l'heure tardive... Le réceptionniste ne parlait pas anglais. Ambiance glauque chambre rudimentaire, confort du lit médiocre et il faisait froid, pas de couverture en plus dans le placard. On se serait cru dans le film "Hostel"... On a très mal dormit. Le matin il y avait un séminaire et nous étions les seuls clients de l'hôtel par contre le matin l'ambiance était super,cadre très beau et le petit déjeuner était bien, le personnel très gentils. Donc nous sommes reparti sur une bonne note mais notre arriver n'était pas génial. L'endroit est plutôt réservé pour les séminaires et les événements.

A historic stay

The conference centre is as the name suggests a conference venue and a very nice one at that. The building and location is great. However, as a hotel then it is as you would expect for such a venue, basic and not to the usual business traveller, but the staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.
