Khaya Ndlovu is a rare gem. The beautifully curated indoor and outdoor spaces on the manor strike the perfect balance between elegance and homeliness. All the staff provide perfect but at the same time very relaxed and super friendly service. The food is delicious. South African hospitality at its best!

J'ai rarement vu un personnel aussi gentil et serviable. La vue sur le parc est superbe, avec des animaux sauvages qui passent alors qu'on déjeune. Vraiment très bel hôtel et les Safari étaient vraiment top.

Amazing staff and safari experience

I spent 3 days and had an amazing stay at Khaya. The property is in a great location and has wonderful views of the mountains. The extremely attentive staff makes you feel like at home. The game drives they offer are great value for the money and the chef, that was the biggest surprise! Totally recommend it.

Março 2019 no Kruger

O hotel é fantástico e os funcionários externamente atenciosos. Gastronomia muito boa, com ótimo jantares e café da manhã. A vista da piscina é sem igual, possível avistar animais bem próximo do lago. Altamente recomendado fazer o game drive da reserva do próprio hotel, vimos mais animais que no próprio Kruger, leões, rinos, girafas, zebras, etc, os guias são muito experientes, os carros podem sair das trilhas e entrar mata adentro, diferente do Kruger. Os quartos são muito confortáveis, porém o único inconveniente é que havia uma porta trancada entre o nosso quarto e o do vizinho, provavelmente para estender o quarto no caso de uma família estar hospedada, isso incomodou um pouco, pois era possível ouvir claramente a conversa do vizinho.

Great hotel in the middle of a private reserve

The hotel was great! Food and service was nice, and most of the facilities were in great condition. We went on two game drives which were really well run, with very knowledgeable staff. We hope to return one day soon!

Good for first or last night especially

Very close and convenient to Hoedspruit Airport (about 5 min) It’s a big lovely manor type house with rooms in the main house (I think) and another external house, gathering living room type spaces, a nice pool backyard area. I think they are their own smaller game reserve, but we didn’t do a drive there. This is a good place to book just a room w/o drives included for much less. They “dehorn” their rhinos to prevent against poaching. There’s great debate on this subject. It WAS cool to see 4 rhinos at the waterhole during breakfast on the first day of our trip and also first day of 2019. A full 3 course dinner is supposed to be included in nightly rate, but we stayed over NYE & they had a party.... which sounded nice, but instead of a proper dinner, we were just served finger foods (after 2 days of traveling). We were invited to the manor’s NYE party, where we were offered drinks, so we were a bit surprised to get charged for them at check out. The rooms we had were lovely (rooms 3 & 4). we were not in the main house, but in an additional wing. Especially Loved the decor of the bathrooms. We had a family room which was MUCH more space than my son & I needed. There was a living room, a sort of dining room with antiques, 2 bedrooms with comfy beds and 2 bathrooms. The Staff was very friendly & helpful. We loved the tortoise that strolls along the grounds. Great spot for massages overlooking watering whole, lovely & refreshing pool & common sitting area

Bästa hotellet i Sydafrika

Helt fantastiskt hotell, exakt vad man vill få uppleva på en Afrikaresa! Vi fick ett superfint mottagande redan ute på parkeringen av ägarinnan med personal. Vi fick exakt den sviten som vi hade beställt och den var precis så fin som den ser ut på bilderna. Rummet var rent och fräscht liksom resten av hotellet och det är utmärkt service. Restaurangmaten var utmärkt nästan sagolik och vi uppskattade verkligen att kocken själv kom ut och berättade om rätterna som skulle serveras, det var också bra på grund av allergier hos flickvännen. Kocken gjorde ett utmärkt jobb med detta och det blev inte ett enda fel. Ligger man och tar en drink i den underbara lagom varma infinitypolen så har man utkik till savannens vattenhål alldeles intill dit djuren kommer för att dricka och äta, Underbart! Ett ställe vi varmt rekommenderar och vi kommer gärna på besök igen. Stort tack till ägarinnan och personal som verkligen gjorde allt för att vår vistelse skulle bli minnesvärd!

Hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war toll. Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet, das Frühstück ebenfalls. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Ich wünschte wir wären länger geblieben, es gab wirklich nichts negatives.

Khaya Ndlovu ist eine tolle Lodge mit typisch afrikanischer Einrichtung und entsprechendes Ambiente. Wir nutzten die Lodge zur Erholung und Durchführung von einigen Game Drives, die sehr schön waren mit Tierbeobachtung von Löwen, Nyla, Impalas, Giraffen u.v.m.... Sehr nett die morgendliche/abendliche Beobachtung am Wasserloch vor der Lodge, wo sich unzählige Tiere tummeln und gut zu beobachten sind.

Exemplary service, decor, and food. The Manor House, located within the Khaya Ndlovu Reserve, also has the best view in the lowveld. Relax by the infinity pool overlooking the waterhole, take a helicopter ride, or go on a game drive, the staff at The Manor House will see to your needs. We spent the most relaxing Sunday by the pool. Drinks and food were brought to us by Surprise, just one of the well-trained and hospitable staff on site. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was VERY comfortable. The Manor House feels like a home away from home. We hoped to stay again on our next trip to Hoedspruit.

Un lodge juste PARFAIT

Un lodge où on se sent comme à la maison ! Très belle maison d’hôte décorée avec beaucoup de goût, qui fait de cet endroit un lieu cosy, chaleureux où on se sent très bien ! Un personnel tellement sympathique, une très bonne cuisine et une vue extraordinaire ! Nous avons tellement adoré cet endroit que nous y sommes revenus 3 jrs plus tard !!! On recommande sans hésiter les safaris dans la petite réserve privée, le ranger Hendrick et le traceur Sim sont géniaux et grâce à eux nous avons pu passer plus d’1h à observer 5 lions à moins de 20 mètres de nous !! Merci !

Amazing location and warm hospitality

Our only regret was having just one night at this idyllic hotel. The outside areas were stunning and we saw warthogs and impala at the watering hole at sundown. The staff make the real difference here with their warm hospitality, In particular, George really impressed us throughout our entire stay as well as the magnificent chef , Shane. We truly felt like cherished guests

Comment remercier : Tout , absolument tout a été formidable .. Un deuxième séjour mieux encore sue le précédent ..
