"We stayed at the Swiss Chalet Hotel Merlischachen in early June and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel has a charming historic, rustic character that adds to its unique atmosphere.
Our family room with three beds and a private bathroom was exceptionally spacious, clean, and included a comfortable seating area. We also had a room with a shared bathroom, and the shared facilities were well maintained and very clean.
The hotel does not have air conditioning, but during our early June stay, it wasn't an issue. We were comfortable sleeping with the windows open, and the cooler evening temperatures made for a pleasant night's sleep.
Breakfast in the onsite restaurant was excellent, with a nice selection in a pleasant setting. The location is beautiful, with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Hotel guests also have access to the lakeside park, which is a wonderful place to relax or take a walk. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from Lucerne, making it a great base for exploring the area."
