"I've stayed at almost every no-frills motel in Eau Claire (I live in the Northwoods and do my stock up shopping in EC), and this one was the best. Perfect...no. It needs some work, but you can see the effort they are putting into it. Live plants inside, landscaping, clean, quiet. I watched one of the staff outside weeding and caring for flowers, and for the indoor plants which had been brought out, and it was clear the pride the motel takes in it's appearance.
I stayed on the hottest day of the year and the AC was amazing! I loved that my dog was able to stay with me, no fuss at all. I didn't ask much of staff, but they were swift to respond.
If you are looking for a manned front desk to cater to your needs, free breakfast, and a pool, this place isn't for you (but if you were looking for that you probably shouldn't be looking at economy lodging). However the, if you're looking for somewhere clean, quiet, safe, and unbelievably cheap, you've hit the jackpot!"
"Was just a quick overnite. Staff was nice.
Rooms were clean and location was quite and close to freeway. Food options across the street and more very close.
Breakfast at hotel was good for us. Hot and Cold options."
"Very nice new hotel in a nice area close to downtown. We enjoyed the extra space in the room and the very nice breakfast area. It was very clean and refilled frequently."
"Nice building. Good service. Room service was great. Overall a nice experience. Parking lot was kind of beat up. Other than that, definitely stay there again. "
