Unit Aspect north facing provided all day sun, beautiful view over valley,..hosts pleasant and helpful, definately stay again and recommend.

Arjuna Ridge short stay.

Great room with excellent views across the valley. Very comfortable bed , Good breakfast selection , great wifi and very clean. Highly recommended.

Arjuna ridge has a great outlook from on high.

Arjuna Ridge B & B, offer comfortable rooms for the traveller, welcoming them to use the facilities as though it was your own space, yes you can use the pool, bbq facilities. The room i had was comfortable with lounge and dinning area inside and in a private courtyard, the bed was very comfortable. I would stay again.

Enjoyed the amazing sunrise from the room, was very quite and secluded. I rated staff as 4 but I didn't see anyone for my entire stay.

Comfortable room with magnificent view.

We really enjoyed our two night stay before our trip into Bruny Island. It was very close to the ferry. It was very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The view was wonderful, stretching down to the water. Everything was provided for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Exquisite location.

Very friendly hosts; fabulous well-appointed room in a serene location, with a magical view. Luxuriously comfortable four poster bed; great breakfast.

Nice view

Great view over the bay however not a lot to do in the area and felt a little uncomfortable being in such close proximity to the owners home. The three rooms are all joined by common walls and we could hear the other guests' muffled voices in their rooms.

Great location - quiet

The room is superb. We spent two hours sitting outside just soaking up the quiet! Host Alana was wonderful and made us feel totally at home. Breakfast was very good. Can't recommend this room highly enough!

The nature of our welcome set the pattern for our stay - relaxing, tranquil and appreciated. Enjoyed watching the bird life at our door.

What a restful place to stay!

Although a little out of the way, the views and peace and quiet made it well worth while. Our friendly host directed us to a couple of excellent eating places, only a few minutes drive away, for our evening meals. And it was lovely to drive home slowly and carefully to observe (and not hit) the wildlife. The room was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed; the chairs and table outside for an afternoon drink and/or breakfast, overlooking the valley, the forest and the ocean in the distance, were appreciated; the bed was blissfully comfortable.

beautiful location, and you really feel aas though you are away from it all. Lovely outlook from the rooms. Good local breakfast materials supplied for a self prepared continental breakfast.

So incredibly peaceful

Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is picturesque and so so peaceful. The room is very nice and looks out over the rolling hills. So sad we only had one night here, we will definitely be back!

Great B&B, would definitely recommend to others.

Stayed 2 nights, and love this place. Everything in the room was clean and all fittings/furnishings were good quality so felt very luxurious. Had all breakfast provisions restocked and dishes washed without any intrusion.

Fantastic Hosts & Wonderful Stay

Lydia is so nice to stay up to welcome us for our late check in. We stayed in the India room and the interior design is wonderful. Clean, elegant and comfortable! The bathroom heating system is good and the bed comes with electric warmer. Continental breakfast is provided the night before which is really convenient for us who starts the day early. The morning view overlooking the hills is beautiful. Located 10 to 15 min drive from Kettering port, we easily took the early ferry to Bruny Island. Sean is extremely kind and helpful when we had issue with our car. He got us out of our situation in the cold night and we are very very thankful to him! Fantastic hosts and highly recommended lodgings!

lovely views, lovely to look at

Beautiful looking room, but ..... no wardrobe, no hooks to hang clothes/dressing gown, no drawers. If you are staying more than one night you will have to live out of your suitcase. Where can you store your suitcase? on the floor under the bed. The thick foam overlay had to be removed from the mattress on the bed so that we could get on to it. We are both around the 157cm in height. The owner offered to do this otherwise we would have had to leave.

Peaceful

Accommodation was lovely with a beautiful view out over the paddocks towards the mountains and water, only issue was the mattress was uncomfortable so we were glad to leave after the second night and the aircon on heat was noisy so we left it off the second night. Also got caught out trying to get clothes ready for a meeting in Hobart, there was an ironing board but no iron and no time to ask for one.

Didn't honor pre-paid booking

We booked and paid for a room at Arjuna Ridge Retreat on 11 June 2016 for a stay on 23 August 2014. On 22 August, the owner sent a e-mail (received on 23 August) that they had double booked and would not honor our reservation. They booked us a room in a nearby inn of lesser quality, paid for that room, and said they would "refund your payment if you e-mail me your banking details." Rather than send such information by unsecure e-mail, we drove to Arjuna the morning of the 24th. There was no one on the property. We e-mailed account information. The owner has since stated that illness has prevented processing the refund. She has also requested further account information. No refund has been issued. A check this morning (16 Septeber) of the Arjuna Ridge Retreat website shows that the property is being offered for sale.

It feels like being in a completely secluded place yet so close to hobart and bruny island that there's lots to do nearby.
