Family Trip

I took my 80 year old father to visit my sister in the area. The Western Motel is a good "blue collar" hotel. It was clean, the owners are very nice, helping my dad on one occasion, and being very nice at check-in. It is an older hotel that they are obviously fixing up as they can. We have stayed there previously and will do so again on our next visit.

We arrived at 6pm to a locked door. A nice lady came to the window and handed me a sheet to fill out. Isn't this info available thru expedia.She looked very afraid. When we googled Jessop we found that violent crime is very high here. Something that would have been good to know.The facility is fine and we found a great restaurant nearby.A heads up on the crime would have been good.
