We have stayed here before when traveling. Everything was fine, but there was a constant beeping in the lobby of the hotel. Not sure why that was never remedied. Otherwise, a decent stay. I’m sure we’ll stay again when we’re in town.

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean. The one thing that bothered us and the others in our group were very disturbed about was the person they were allowing to stay/sleep on the floor in the lobby the whole weekend. He slept in the corner by the fireplace visible to everyone that came into the building and while having breakfast. Luckily our group and obviously others staying there overlooked the situation, but it sure did not look good to customers coming in. We all would never choose this Americinn in Mora ever again due to the first impression we were given by this person curled up in the corner sleeping during our weekend there.

The staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint was the internet had a weak signal in my room (it was at the end of the hallway). We had to check out really early for Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, but they let us take some food away for breakfast.

The room was absolutely putrid and we had to keep the hotel door and window open when we got our room because the stench was so bad. Not only that but it had a stale cigarette smell in the hotel room and a pot smell at the front desk. There were crumbs and stains in the bed. Even the bathroom had really gross stains where you can tell the bathroom haven’t been deep cleaned in months. 😷 the staff was helpful but it doesn’t make up for how dirty the room was. Thank god I didn’t see the pool I bet it was horrible shape if the room looked like that. If I wasn’t in a rush for my weekend festivities I would have immediately asked for a full refund. Do not stay here.

The only problem I had was when I turned on the vent it smelled like cigarettes. Being an older and redone I understand the problem. To be honest it didn’t bother me that much but I didn’t want to get penalized for it.

The building is an older building but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Wonderful bed. The hot tub was fine, not over hot. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfsst. But the staff was wonderful. Courteous, helpful and very friendly. This included housekeepers, desk personnel and management.

The beds were comfortable. The fire alarms malfunctioned during the night, going off several times. The problem was fixed soon enough that we could still get some sleep. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The room was extremely humid. So everything was damp. The breakfast needed some major help. The eggs were rubbery and the sausage links looked like turds. They were tasteless and tough.
