staff was very pleasant and helpful upon arrival. Breakfast wasn’t very impressive. I looked in window because the door was locked. It looked like there was only cereal, juice and coffee available.

The room was in ok condition. Walls need painting. Bathroom door stuck pretty badly. Ceiling in bathroom shows water damage. Bed has low spots on both sides of mattress. We got what we paid for, but probably won't use this place again.

Overall it was a a reasonable room for the price. It was right off the highway so the location was convenient. The breakfast could use some work but the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Someone before us had a dog or cat that had scratched the bathroom door and carpet and there were handprints on the wall above the toilet. The beds were clean as well as the linens but a good DEEP cleaning would go a long way

Please turn on the AC before we get there

When I arrived there was no record of my booking. The desk attendant tried to convince me that I was another person who had booked two rooms and wanted me to pay for two rooms. He had my ID in front of him with my name, which was different from the name on the reservation he was looking at. I had to show him my confirmation email in order to check in. When we got to the room it was super clean and comfortable (but no frills as advertised) except for being super hot. The AC was off, so I turned it on to high and turned the temp to cool. Keep in mind the unit was so old there really wasn’t any writing on it. Lukewarm air came out of it, after an hour we had to ask for help. The room should be at a livable temp when we get there, especially if the AC is unreadable.

Cheap clean,nice staff, but I don't like that this app makes me write more than I feel like. So now I am rambling on to get my word quota. Sometimes I just don't have time for this but I like people to know my experience was good for being the cost it was.

I didn't like the dilapidated condition of the building. We got an "upgraded" room that had an air conditioner unit that wouldn't cool down, the compressor would kick in and shut down at intervals never reallly getting cold in a hot Summer night. When we called for assistance, we got someone to check on the unit and we were offered another room being told "this is the last one we have". The ac worked on the room we were offered, but the bathroom wasn't in the same condition, oh well. A few cars only in the entire parking lot and no more rooms? The stairwell seems to have the rungs replaced by metal pieces but the landing is in such bad condition I had to make sure it wasn't crumbling before I stepped in. "Breakfast" was such a disappointment, we opted out. When I asked for a discount the next morning, I was told "no". I was told she was only an employee and couldn't do it. "The owner is not here and I cannot give you contact information". I suggested that if I were the owner, I'd rather hear a guest's complaint directly, instead of a public post. She said, "go ahead and post, we can reply to that". Zero negotiation, "we moved you to another room" (at the most inconvenient time). At this point I wish I had taken pictures and video to show details of what I'm speaking about, plus the crumbling brick everywhere, all over the building, etc. Anyway, regardless of what they reply, if you choose to stay you can verify what I'm talking about. We don't recommend it.
