It was fine. Frankly they're charging far too much for what they have. Many hotels have the same amenities and a similar location for half the price.

Positive: near beach and 'activity'; excellent breakfast; staff were quick to respond if you had a question Negative: more like a 'hostel' than a hotel, place has a really shabby and run-down feel, room smelled of mildew; no hot water; no a/c. Overall: if you are on a budget, you can survive, but I was happy to leave after one night.

Shocking

Booked hotel for our driver and the owner was rude to both us and the driver because of this. I paid cash, upfront and he tried to stop giving him breakfast because he was not me who had booked it. Shocking.

Don't pay for room till you get there.

Well what can i say about casa lanka hotel well don't book room on hotels.com or other web site they don't keep room they give to frist come frist gets it.they won't give me my money back they said get it off hotels.com i payed from 4 nights they won't refund. So after 1 hour of fighting with them they gave me a room but had to share with my travelling friend how also booked a room but lucky his was pay on arrivel but they won't give him room either.but finally got room we had to share.room wasn't clean water prasher bad door on wardrobe boke always open.free breakfast 2 fried eggs. If going this hotel don't pay till your sure you have room.room not worth the price.
