The forest cottage was comfortable, clean & really roomy quiet from traffic noise. Beds were large & comfy . We really liked that the kitchen pantry was stocked with sauces , papper towel glad wrap etc & a great range of coffee , tea, hot chocolate & the fridge with bottled water. Also we liked that we had undercover parking. Only thing we would of liked Evan though they were good quality is bigger bath towels

Great Cottage for two

The cottage nice and spacious. The beautiful birds visiting there are just fabulous. The amenities are dated and the cars' noise from road are the two downsides.

Unique is the appropriate word. It is full of old world, country charm and comfort making it so easy to immediately feel at home. So many small thoughtful extras and more than sufficient heating to combat the winter chill. This property calls for a longer stay to enjoy the facilities and the lovely well cared for garden.

We enjoyed an absolute wonderful two nights, restful stay. The king size beds are so comfortable. Immaculate property, everything we needed was provided and plenty of lovely extras. Enjoyed just sitting in the garden with a coffee or taking a stroll through the lovely parks. Booking is easy. Communication excellent and quick. Extremely quiet. Recommend this 10/10 hidden gem.

Forestview cottage❤❤

My friend and i had such an enjoyable stay, we had Forestview Cottage. The kitchen was well stocked of equipment and other bits and pieces with a gas stove and no oven. Microwave Convection Oven very easy to use. The beds were excellent I always take my own pillow but their pillows were fantastic. Oh the softness and size of the towels I found my 7th heaven. Cleanliness was superb Will stay again and great recommendations for future patrons.

Beautiful Cottage among Lovely Gardens

The Cottage is absolutely beautiful with a small but fully funcyional kitchen with medium size fridge. The Spa was fantastic the shower spacious but lacking any pressure. free wifi. The bed is lovely to look at but the mattress is a little tired. The Gardens are absolutely lovely in bloom. And there is a abortorium right next door to enjoy a lovely afternoon stroll looking at the Greenery

Romantic and relaxing stay. We stayed in the Oak cottage. My husband and I live on the Gold Coast and this stay is exactly what we needed. We walked through the beautiful Northern gardens on site which in winter look like Canadian fall. We got cozy by the fire with some red wine at night and French press coffee in the morning. We didn’t want to leave! Would absolutely stay again.

Anniversary Amble

Great location, with leafy surrounds in central Highfields. Close to shopping, great resturants, arboretum, and outdoor attractions. Within driving distance for a day in Toowoomba exploring antique shops, craft stores, and home made chocolate. Lots of outdoor activities, including national parks, dams, and waterfalls. Good clean country air. A delightful couples getaway for an anniversary,or special occasion. Very relaxing and intimate stay.

A country delight

We stayed for 2 nights in the Oak Cottage. The property and the cottage are beautifully maintained and it was a pleasure staying for a few nights. It is located at Highfields only a few minutes north of Toowoomba and a great base from which to see all the local attractions. There are a lot of little luxury touches which make all the difference - high quality towels and bedding, chocolates, and a well equipped kitchen with quality pots and pans and appliances.

Spa was amazing to sit back and relax with my partner over many wines and cheeses. Cottage was extremely clean, everything you need was available and even could sit back and watch a few movies that were supplied with a DVD player. BBQ could have been cleaned (Was dirty inside) but we didn’t intend to use so that wasn’t an issue. Fridge was more than big enough with a Woolworths only 5 minutes away which was very convenient. Lovely big wooden chairs on outside deck area to sit and enjoy and cup of tea in the morning. Overall a lovely time was shared with my partner and myself highly recommend.

This cottage was good and it was pet friendly which was excellent however the yard was very messy and other users had not cleaned up after their pets. The bbq was feral my hushand did try to clean it but it was very hard to get clean. Inside was pretty good floors were a little dusty and the bathroom needed a wipe over. Location was good.
