「We stayed at a nearby competitor two weeks prior and it was nice for what it was. The holiday inn was a convenience location for our purpose and the price was good but it appears to be a much older property than the other. I appreciated being asked for my vehicle details because the other hotel called rooms at 5 am trying to find the owner of a vehicle. I was on the 4th floor which felt like a sauna as soon as I got off the elevator. I don’t believe I paid, or asked, for Mountain View but got it...

「An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.」

「Room was disgusting, open the closet door and it’s an old water bottle filled with pee from who knows how long ago. Sheets smelled dirty, bathroom was clean despite the walls near the bathtub falling apart. Staff was zero help and they will profile you. After telling them about the bottle of pee you would think it would be immediately removed and offer us to switch rooms. None of that happened it stayed in the room until we checked out.
