Great little hotel on the beachfront small sandy beaches restaurants and bars 500 metres away, you can throw a stone from hotel into the water. swimming pool with swim up bar Very friendly staff, special mention to Katerina who seemed to be in every department. early in the season so quiet. no public transport, you must have a car would recommend Photo from breakfast terrace

Breakfast was a highlight, good voice of food. Maria did an excellent job with the cooking and presentation of food. Ekaterini was immaculate with her cleaning efforts & preparation/presentation of our room. Overall, our stay at Yria Beach Hotel was both relaxing, quiet & close to the beach, restaurants & facilities. Highly recommended.

The location was amazing. The house keeping was fantastic. Katarina, who made our room, was both very nice and kind, but also very good at keeping the rooms fresh and clean. The service at the hotel was good, but it was very hard to get in touch with the hotel in before hand. They didn't answer to e-mail until serveral days afterwards and they didn't answer the phone at all. The hotel was very cozy. Not luxurious, but we found it very charming and cute.

Bed was so hard I still have back pain a week later, the room was horrible, no tv or anything. The bathroom had no shower door so when you showered all the water went all over the floor. There was also a strong smell of mould in the room.

Great location, on a beautiful sandy beach with a few tavernas close by. Quiet. This hotel was rated a 4 star but it would be lucky to get 2 star. The morning buffet breakfast is the worst we have experienced in over 50 years of travelling to Crete and other parts of Greece.

Hallo zusammen. Am ersten Tag mussten wir auf 2 andere Zimmer ausweichen, da unseres nicht verfügbar war. Also ein Kellerapartment ohne Klima, WiFi, kein warmes Wasser. Sauberkeit leider auch schlecht. Haare in der Dusche und Boden leider nur mit Schuhe begehbar.

Ich muss mal eine Lanze brechen: Das Frühstück war durchaus gut - für einen Urlaub genügend Auswahl - und für etwas Abwechslung wurde auch gesorgt: Mal gab es Pizza, mal Kartoffelsalat, die gebratenen Eier wurden auch variiert. Der Kaffee war gut. Das Gemüse immer frisch. Der Obstsalat war meistens auch in genügender Menge vorhanden. Kuchen wurde variiert. Brote gab es verschiedene. Butter und Margarine war immer da. Ich war super glücklich mit der Olivenpaste. Säfte gab es auch verschiedene. Cerealien haben meine Kinder auch immer wieder gegessen - gab es auch eine Auswahl. Wir waren mit den Zimmern(Apartment) (Schlafzimmer, Aufenthaltsraum, der mit 2 Couchs oder eben Betten war, einem Küchenbereich und einem Badezimmer) sehr zufrieden. Die Küche hatte eine Arbeitsplatte und einen kleinen Tisch. Auf der Arbeitsplatte war ein kleiner Kühlschrank für Getränke (auch mit Willkommensgruß). Ein Wasserkocher mit etwas Zutaten. Keine Kochplatte. Das Appartment (wir hatten Seeblick im 2. Stock) hatte 2 Balkons - einen zur Front mit Eingang in Nachbarschaft zu anderen Zimmern (hier Tisch mit 2 Stühlen) und einen nach hinten (Da war ein kleines Trockengestell für Wäsche). Entlang der Küste gab es 5 Restaurants und 2 Bars und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Wenn man entlang der größeren Straße nach Gournes (Westen) geht, gibt es weitere Restaurants, Autovermietungen, Souveniergeschäfte, Kleidungsgeschäfte, Supermärkte, und im Zentrum auch Bars mit Livemusik. Meistes bis 22h offen.

Zum Check-In war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig, der Mann an der Rezeption (27.07.25) war unfassbar unfreundlich, alle anderen Mitarbeiter jedoch im Gegensatz extrem Nett und zuvorkommend. Mein Zimmer war hervorragend. Mega Ausblick und top Renoviert. Die Zimmer meiner Freunde waren jedoch teilweise komplett verschimmelt. Die Lage ist perfekt, geht nicht besser. Wirklich direkt am Strand. Für mich war es insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, ich hatte jedoch auch Glück - meine Freunde hätten wesentlich mehr Probleme, man muss also Glück haben

Place was very nice, although our room didn't have any doors on our shower; made for very wet floors lol. Mattress was very firm, but other than that, location is right on the beach which is fantastic! You can rent a beach chair (minimum of 6 euros spend limit), and the staff were all very friendly!

Fantastiskt läge nära fin strand. Härlig pool med tillhörande poolbar. 6 E / dag kostade det att nyttja hotellets strandsolstolar om man inte köpte något från poolbaren vilket vi dock gjorde dagligen vilket inte blev ett bekymmer. Tycker att frukostbuffén inte riktigt var helt tillfredsställande, damen som arbetade var oftast lite sur och plockade gärna bort tallrikar innan man hunnit äta klart i lugn och ro. From the beginning, it felt like a family atmosphere. Not just with incredible Greek friendliness, but you really felt like the employees cared and were personally invested in your experience. A local village feel with just about everything you need nearby: store, 5-6 good restaurants, stellar beach. The hotel itself was excellent for those who want to do nothing but relax. Great bar and kitchen with reasonable prices and good quality food. Morning breakfast was nice. You don’t go there if you are expecting new and luxury facilities but you go there for a great vibe and beach experience. Beach was sandy and pretty clean with chairs and umbrellas to which the hotel would deliver food and drink to. All around very happy!
