We had just been here for two nights in August 23, excellent accommodation, very clean, lovely staff, and great location for a more local experience. The hotel has just been refurbished and looks great. The bar is currently not open - but not a problem, you can take your own to the pool. The pool is excellent 😃 and the taverna next door was brilliant. Also - being adult only was perfect.

We had an overnight stay at the Hotel before our flight back home. The hotel is located near to Heraklion airport which can be reached by taxi in about ten minutes. Hotel staff was very kind and helped in any aspects. There is a nice pool at the hotel. The hotel gives a good opportunity to pass the last day of your vacation at crete, relaxing around the pool. Absolutely recommended.

This is a lovely property, with a pool and within walking distance to the beach. It is very close to a bus line stop, and a convenience store, a restaurant and a coffee shop are all within immediate walking distance. With its nice, laid-back atmosphere and its helpful staff, it was the perfect hotel for my stay in Karteros!

Staff was disorganized, first we arrived and he said that we didn't have a reservation, after going back and forth he realized that he wasn't connected to the Internet so he didn't see the reservation. We made the reservation at least the night before, so it makes no sense. Then he gave us a key to a room and we had already started unpacking, when the host told us that he gave us the wrong room and we had too move. They didn't help with anything and provided no amenities, not even coffee or water.

I usually don’t leave comments when it comes to properties (only leave ratings) but I felt like this time I should for the sake of other travelers. I booked this properties following several researches and good ratings from other travelers. Maybe the hotel is good and I was unlucky. I rented 3 rooms for 6 people. All the rooms had more or less the same issues: - the air conditioning did not work even after using their trick (closing all the doors and windows) - one room had cockroaches coming out the shower grate and the A/C unit. It was so bad that the occupants had to have a shower in another room. - another room had spiders coming out of the A/C unit - this property is labeled “hotel”. I would have expected the beds to be made upon arrival. This was not the case. We had to make our own beds. The rooms were also not serviced the following day. Nowhere on the net and the description of the property it was said that we had to make our own bed and the rooms were not serviced. - the linen in most of the room were dirty and blood stained - the TV did not work in one room (although not a big deal) - due to the rooms not being serviced, one room ran out of toilet paper. - in 2 rooms one of the single bed had its slates broken. The list goes on and on. I would avoid this “hotel” and look for something else. Along the same road there seems to be a bit more choices (unfortunately they were all booked out during my time over there)

Simple et efficace

Hotel tres basique. Pas cher mais pratique car proche de l'aéroport. Chambre petite. Lit dur et pas fait. Gros plus d'avoir la réception ouverte 24h sur 24. Taxi de l'aéroport extrêmement cher(compter 20€ pour 6min de trajet). Environnement relativement calme même s'il y a eu de la musique jusqu'à pratiquement 1h de matin proche de notre chambre.

Hotel extrêmement près de l'aéroport donc (très ) bruyant. Sinon chambre de belle taille, sanitaires très propres. Boulangerie juste en face pour le petit déjeuner. Parking pratique. Très bonne halte pour une nuit proche de l'aéroport.

Hotel Strand nähe!!!

Das Hotel liegt gut, es ist in die nähe von Strand aber leider es ist nicht sauber genug, es wird nur alle 3-4 Tage sauber gemacht. Die Frau an der Rezeption ist freundlich und noch ein anderen Mann aber der anderen Mann war nicht freundlich genug als ich gefragt für die Handtücher zu wechseln, weil schmutzig war hat nicht getauscht und das Essen warm zu machen war nicht begeistert zeigt sich ein langes Gesicht 😔.

Très bon séjour

Nous étions logés dans une chambre 4 personnes au RDC donnant sur une terrasse prolongée d’un grand jardin privé avec table, chaises et transat. C’était très agréable. Le seul inconvénient est que l’on ne savait pas qu’il y avait un arrosage automatique la nuit et donc les affaires que l’on a mis à sécher dehors étaient encore plus mouillées à notre réveil … La piscine qui est grande est assez éloignée des logements, ce qui est très bien car on reste au calme.
