「Check in was easy and staff friendly. The room was clean. Even though it was a busy night at the pub with the quiz night you couldn’t hear it inside the room. One are for improvement is the check out method. The notice in the room says that if you plan to check out ‘very early’ please let a member of staff know to be told the key box code. In our minds this would around 6 or 7am and so we didn’t ask the staff. When we were ready to check out the next day at 9am there was no one there or anyone...

「A great inn in Edingbrugh. We stay for 3 nights with two rooms. The breakfast is wonderful and the bad is very comfortable. The room is equipped everything we need during our stay. Though no lift to the 2nd floor and 3rd, we still enjoy this small old building. However the street noise can be heard clearly that might put you sleepless whole night, especially over weekend. We could leave lugguages for half day after check out and help make our walking tour on Royal mile easier. Thank you...

「Cannot fault this hotel. From check in to check out all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious. 」

「Great place as a base for exploring the Borders. Overall stay was good. Room was exceptionally clean(had a couple of minor niggles but these were dealt with happily and swiftly). Stayed in a double which was quite small (with only one bedside table). Would 'upgrade' to a larger room if staying again. The best thing about this hotel is the people and the outstanding service they provide-nothing too much trouble and so friendly. Ooh- and good food including a fab breakfast. 」
