Das Hotel Kastell ist ein sehr elegantes, relativ kleines Hotel in der Fußgängerzone in Ahlbeck mit bester Lage am Strand, mit Blick auf die Promenade und zum Teil mit Wasserblick. Der Eingangsbereich, sowie die Bar, der Speisebereich als auch die Zimmer sind einheitlich mit eleganten Holzmöbeln ausgestattet. Auch wenn ich eher auf modern stehe, fand ich das Hotel unwahrscheinlich charmant und elegant. Es passt einfach alles zusammen. Was ich besonders hervorheben möchte und was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist, war der herzliche Empfang beim einchecken. Freundlich und zuvorkommend wurden wir empfangen. Ein Parkplatz war für uns vorgesehen. Unser Zimmer war eine Junior Suite auf der obersten Etage mit Blick ins Landesinnere. Wir hatten reichlich Platz. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Und der Service ebenfalls! Zu meckern habe ich nichts und kann das Hotel mit ruhigem Gewissen. Nächstes Mal wenn wir uns erneut auf Usedom befinden werden wir wieder in Hotel Kastell buchen!

Das Hotel hat etwas. Es ist sehr elegant aufgebaut und verbreitet ein schönes Flair. Leider ist die Einrichtung schon in die Jahre gekommen, was aber dem Aufenthalt nicht stört. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider bietet die Bar nicht so viel, so dass abends nicht so viel im Hotel passiert. Das Frühstück war reichlich und sehr ansprechend.

Zum Schnäppchenpreis, war es sehr ok. Zur Überraschung findet man bei Wunsch, eine kleine, aber sehr feine Sauna. Das Frühstück für 4* voll ok.

Ruhige Strandnahe Lage! Wohnzimmer mit einer schlechten Ausstattung und einem zu kleinen TV. Sauna klein aber fein. Frühstück alles Tip Top (wie auf AIDA) Sehr freundliches und hilfebietendes Personal. Zu wenig Parkmöglichkeiten ums Hotel und Gebühren pflichtig !

Wir konnten leider erst einen Tag später als geplant anreisen und der Tag wurde anstandslos abgezogen (ohne das ich danach gefragt habe). Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem kann man alles einfach erreichen. Die Betten haben sich sehr gut geschlafen :-) Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker.

Aufenthalt in der Nachsaison, trotzdem ist das Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich, und der Service gut. Es liegt am Ende der Strandpromenade, was aber durchaus vorteilhaft ist. Ein gutes Restaurant in der Nähe ist das Kaisers Eck in der Kaiserstr.
