Reasonably priced for one night

Good value for money. We needed a budget stopover having flown in late night. Close to airport, clean, reasonably quiet and an fairly comfy bed for two sleepy travellers.

Great location and good facilities

Very accommodating hosts, small room but good facilities incl air con, balcony, Wi-Fi, breakfast. Walking distance from the airport and on the bus route into the centre. Stayed here previously and will stay here again. Highly recommended.

It was alright. Maybe more of a $40 a night hotel than the close to $70 that I paid but the staff was nice enough. Really not much of an advantage over some other slightly more expensive hotels or cheaper hostels

Our stay at the Asterion Hotel was short (about 12 hours) but comfortable. The front desk staff were gracious and accommodating to our needs. A special shout out to Stelios, who prepared an awesome continental breakfast for us since we had to leave so early (0430). We scrambled to make our flight so having some good food in us was greatly appreciated. THANKS STELIOS!!!! We look forward to our next trip to Crete and chance to stay at the Asterion.

Good all rounder

arrived after midnight from the airport which is just up the road. Easy check in and after using the lift to take the luggage to the room, we had an ouzo out front of the hotel. Staff provided free of charge a plate of cold meats and cheeses. Not bad at 1am. room was ok for the night but wouldn't want a week there. Comfortable but a little cramped in the room and the ensuite shower/toilet. Breakfast included ( mostly Continental) . we went down late and the hot offer was now somewhat cool. Enough to get the day started. We have used this hotel several times each occasion we fly to Crete because of its nearness to the airport, a reasonable price for 2 people, breakfast included, good service and a faairly good bed for the night. So, yes , i recommend it.
