「The room was very clean and had been newly refurbished. We were a bit concerned that there were no contact details about what do in an emergency with no-one living on the premises. We only realised this on the last morning so couldn’t mention it to staff. I would normally speak to someone directly rather than on a public forum」

「Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.」

「Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...

「We were staying as a family of four adults. The location was in a quiet area overlooking the sea in the distance. The accommodation was very specious, clean and well equipped. One bedroom had a small en suite shower and toilet. There was also a bath with overhead shower and toilet in a separate room. We used the apartment as a base, exploring the nearby beaches and villages. The owner had thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable. 「When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. 」

「Everything you could need for independent accommodation. Very well equipped kitchen and dining space with comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms and bathroom are a good size and are clean and tidy. The facility of the hot tub is amazing. Also only a 15min drive from Falmouth seafront. Overall, very well worth a stay here. 」

「We checked in but didn’t stay here. We gave the key back as soon was we reached our room, this is a sports bar which is fine if you are told this when booking. The rooms are filthy with stained bedding. We Asked for a refund as we needed to stay elsewhere but have not had any feedback from them or expedia. Not a happy customer as we use Expedia regularly. They need to look at who they endorse and refund when appropriate.」
