At the price very decent hostel. Recommended for conferences etc, less so for solo-travel. Kitchen lacks items

Suitable for budget travellers.
Everything good. You can sleep well. the room is warm. Solo travellers are welcome to stay here. About 3 km to the city but easy to get public transport. Just buy daily pass from receptionist and you can go around the city and come back to the hostel anytime.
Nimen omaan hinta-laatu -suhde yöpaikasta keskellä Helsinkiä tekee tästä paikasta loistavan juuri siihen tarkoitukseen ja tarpeeseen, joka minulla oli - siis paikka, johon mennä nukkumaan kirjamessuilla vietettyjen päivien jälkeen.
Huone oli todella siisti ja hyvä. Oli aluksi vaikea paikantaa missä hotelli on koska varaussivulla oli kaksi eri osoitetta. Hyvä paikka olla muutama yö.
Really good hostel! Travel card needed because the location of this hostel is too far from the city center.
It was clean, cheap, good people and of course great sauna.
Good:
1. Near Train#3, can go to downtown easily.
2. very cheap, I only paid 9 euros a night.
3. the facilities are new.
Bad:
1. upper beds have no railing
2. the bathroom and toilet were not very clean
Generally speaking this is an ok hostel, but you cannot be very satisfied

Simple, no frills.
Simple, no frills. Everything is what one would expect from staying in a hostel. The showering facilties doesn't offer much privacy and it seems that the curtains were installed as an afterthought as the cubicles were initially separated by transparent glass panels.
You need a card to access the ground floor while inside the building. I believe that's a bit dangerous in case of a fire. One receptionist was too busy for about 20-30 minutes to process my booking (it's nice to be able to relax after a lot of travelling and not have to wait in a waiting room). There was also some kinda of loud fan in the room which was on all night. I got very little sleep as I was waking up from the sound constantly. I would have gotten very little anyway as I had an early flight, but it could use being looked into.
The roomies were nice guys and the receptionists were helpful apart from the waiting.
However, for the price (€17 for a night), I'll take it again. If that fan and door are fixed.

The Name is Deceiving: Not "Cheap"
Don't be deceived by the name; it's a misnomer, as this is the most expensive hostel I've ever stayed at--and I have traveled widely. At 59.00 Euros for one night for a bed in a six-bed dorm this place is more costly that anything I have experienced--it makes hostel prices in Paris, London, and even Norway look like bargains. On top of this the floor of the dorm badly needed sweeping and there were clumps of hair in the showers. The only redeeming feature is the helpfulness of the front-desk staff. The kitchen is average. The location is not within easy walking distance of the central rail station; however there is a bus stop close by for transportation to the airport and a grocery store within easy walking distance.
Cheapsleep is a good hostel to sleep, and good cause you're really close from stop point for bus and tramway for city center and airport.
After that inside, the hostel is not really clean, the living room is really really simple, the kitchen was not clean everytime, and bathroom and toilets were not cleaned every days and not nice cause the hostel is busy. And during the weekend, the nights were really noisy!
A good hostel if you don't care about all those details, if you do, it's maybe not the best one ..

Bra besök
Sov här en natt när jag mellanlandade i Helsingfors, hotellet ligger rätt långt från centrum och spårvagn men nära till bussar som tar dig in till centrum!
Rummet hade 4 bäddade, eget säkerhetsskåp att låsa in saker. Sängarna var helt rött sköna.
Fanns kök så man Kunde göra egen frukost. Bra hostel för att stanna någon natt.
