"Beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. Black sand beach w sea sounds to soothe the soul, and seals swimming. Owners made sure bedding and staples like coffee were available. Management company was responsive to email request. It’s an historic home, interesting to read about it. Convenient to all of the sightseeing we were doing in Snaefellas Peninsula. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you!"

"After spending 10 days circling Iceland, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is both gorgeous and spacious, and the views are wonderful. Looking out from one side of the apartment you will see mountains and a huge glacier. From the other end you will see the ocean. When we were there, we could see seals basking on the rocks just offshore from the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and especially comfortable. We will be back!"

"This guesthouse was great! There isn’t a check in but you use the lobby phone for the code to get in the room. Works fine. They also answer other misc questions we had on this phone. Rooms are kind of small but big enough, bathroom is shared and there’s two in the hallway but I never saw anyone else. Clean, comfortable and in a great location. Good breakfast with just the right amount of choices. Good coffee. There is an excellent restaurant right across the street. We had a Mountain View...

"The most beautiful location I stayed at while at Iceland. Full fledged kitchen amenities provided in common room. Neat and tidy guesthouse, comfy bed and decent private bathroom. I really loved the experience staying at this location and highly recommend. Only issue if you are coming in late is check the procedure in advance or call them earlier during the day. I checked in pretty late and was not provided details about my room number and checkin procedure via phone or email. Instructions were provided on their booking page and the glass doors outside the guesthouse. However, reaching there in the dark I completely missed the name and room number attached to the glass doors and had to call the number provided inside the guesthouse. Luckily someone answered the call and guided me in the right direction. Thank you. "
