"We had a family room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was well maintained. There is a communal living room and TV by the kitchen as well. The hot tub is large but can get busy in the evenings. Highly recommend walking the lava trails around the property. Our children loved the playground as well. Overall a good stay, we did not try the restaurant as the prices were pretty high. The nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away so stock up before you arrive."
"Staff were very helpful. We had dinner there once and two breakfasts. The food was very good. The weather did not cooperate. However, we traveled to the north side of the Snaefellsnes peninsula and had decent weather there. There is much to see in this area. Its location is very rural; thus, other restaurants, grocery stores, swimming pools, etc. are some distance away."
"It was clean, nicely feeling accommodation in a retro style. The retro does NOT mean old and worn out, but more like the feeling of staying in a small local museum. The rooms are the biggest I stayed in during my two-week road trip in Iceland. Location is best - first line facing ocean / harbor.
The only thing I liked less where showers. They where ok, but I would do there some renovations to match the entire guesthouse level."
"We were a group of 4. We had two rooms. The entire place was clean and the people there were helpful and pleasant. Meals were delicious. It was a unique place because of its location. Would recommend it. "
