"This hotel is at the far end of the town, so it was a bit far to walk to the downtown area. It is, however located across from a Waterpark and the Festhall where the Oktoberfest celebration starts. Outdoor pool available. Breakfast was homemade waffles, etc... overall, good experience."

"Excellent location, safe and quiet. Dog friendly with a dog park right next to the river. On the pricey side for bringing your dog as they charge per day and not a one time charge. Everything in Helen is easy walking distance for shopping and dinning. "

"I was skeptical about booking after reading reviews however with the price being so good we stayed anyways. The hotel is old ans d it shows, but its clean. The rooms are updated but still show wear and tear. The beds are very comfortable!! Plenty of towels etc. Basic room. The sheets had rips in them, i contacted the front desk so they woupd know we didnt cause the rips. They have an incidental sheet and will charge you for damages. The housekeeping is great, very helpful and we really liked them. The pool is absolutely wonderful. The fire pit needs to be reserved so tell the front desk. Its fun we had a good time after swimming late. The breakfast is very small just fyi.The coffee is ok.There is a grocery store nextdoor that has excellent breakfast and lunch, dinner. Its a deli. BETTY'S, remember that! The hotel is in walking distance to the river, shops, restaurants. Very happy with the location. We will be back!!"

"We only stayed for nights. But we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely be staying with them again in the future! From the time we got out of our car we were greeted by great staff with huge smiles. And the room was wonderful and we greatly Appreciated the hot tub in our room which helped us out alot with our hurting bodies lol. And we also really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the Hotel!! And the pool. "
