「Parking was easy, however you might have to struggle against hikers parking there for the trek to Wartburg Castle. Highlights are the killer views of the valley & of Wartburg perched on the opposing hill from the cafe, and the wonderful breakfast that comes with the booking. It was an excellent spread. Well done. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. But clean.」

「I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small. 「Property lacked amenities ie, bathroom toiletries, tissues, lack of a hair dryer, towels were worn. Choice of breakfast options was very limited, no fresh fruit & replenishment of options was not attended to adequately. However, property is a charming country getaway. The gardens are peaceful within easy walking distance from the town & railway station . If you’re not too fussed about the above details, it offers a very pleasant cost effective stay. 」

「Parken hinter dem Hotel. Man musste einmal um den Block fahren wegen Einbahnstraßen. Hinweis wäre gut, dass man vorher abbiegen muss. Lage war super. Wir konnten alles fußläufig erreichen.」
