"This is undoubtedly one of the best value hotels in DC! The location is great, just two blocks from the Metro, and the staff were outstanding. Lisa at the front desk was on her way out of the hotel after her shift when I came to the front desk and asked if there was anyone who could sew a button back on my dress coat as I was heading out to dinner with important contacts when the button came off. Small thing, but it looked awful! Lisa found thread and a sewing kit and fixed it in just ten minutes! Rather than pass the buck, and even though her shift was over, she took care of me and made everything perfect for my big event. I can't thank her enough!"

"I do not welcome pets into my home. When I travel, pets should be outside not inside where am. Each staff person was wonderful. The included breakfast and wine/cheese events are very enjoyable and why I choose Normandy! Thanks."

"This used to be my favorite DC hotel. It's clean and in a great location for walking and dining but lots of roadwork in the area this trip and really long traffic lights which make getting around the Circle in a car impossible. The bar is excellent. The restaurant is ok. Comfortable bed. "

"Clean room. Clean bathroom. Housekeeping was wonderful and always did more than what was expected. All the outlets in the main area didn’t work. I had to make my coffee in the bedroom or in the bathroom. Couldn’t use that to its potential. The initial communication through text from Sindy was a waste of time. First she claimed they didn’t have a pool, then she said she didn’t know. Come to find out it was on the top floor. And half of my stay, the pool was occupied for swimming lessons. I came to the hotel with 3 children. The pool area accumulates water and it’s entirely too slippery on tile. Everyone kids who were WALKING were cracking their heads on the tile."
