The location was charming. The room size was good and very clean. The amenities were also good. There was a mix up with our booking and we were not greeted at all upon arrival. The hotel apologised profusely and compensated us. The weather was very very cold and snowy but the room remained warm. Overall charming

The breakfast was a Super continental breakfast, with a surprisingly large variety of breakfast items. The room had a great layout with a large window overlooking a lake with mountains in the background. I expected a great place to stay, and it was better than expected.

This is legitimately one of the best properties I've ever stayed at. Homey, helpful, stunning views, wildlife appearances, and everything was SO comfortable. I'd live here if I could honestly.

Absolutely gorgeous view of mountains and lake. Comfortable beds. Daily breakfast was included. I really enjoyed the raisin bread. Management was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The view were absolutely amazing. They had cute little extras for breakfast. We were very cold two nights and the thermostat didn’t work, there was actually no heater/ac vents at all that we could see, they did offer a few extra blankets but it was very chilly. Also our light switch was a hit or miss if it worked and the main outlet to use was broke because nothing stayed plugged in. Laundry on site does cost extra. Prime location for Denali-we did see a Moose here!

This place was magnificent. It may not be for everyone during the winter, but it was absolutely PERFECT for me. I traveled solo & stayed two nights. Easy self check-in. Owner was easy to contact and very nice to speak with. Lovely lobby with coffee, tea & water. I stayed in the MoonDream room which was facing the lake. I arrived to lots of fresh fruit, drinks and other snacks. Everything was clean and tidy & the view was spectacular. Full disclosure, there ate only two options open in the winter for food plus a small grocery store. The locals at the Totem Restaurant said the town is completely different in the summer. All the stores are open, etc. I am definitely planning on returning. Not it will be in the summer because I enjoyed the peace & quiet so much.
