"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"A lovely family, very friendly and perfect location for easy access to Liverpool. We had a 2nd floor room with amazing views of the Liver building and river Mersey. The breakfast was top quality and plenty of it. Everything was very relaxed and welcoming, would definitely like to stay again"

"Anfield is right around the corner. It was the perfect location for walking around the area, exploring Stanley Park, and it was still easy to catch a bus to center city. I had some travel mishaps, and Suzzanne was great to work with. Suzi was likewise great. The atmosphere on matchday was amazing. As a solo traveler my room was small, but it was all I needed. Highly recommended for anyone going to an LFC match."

"We liked our room which was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. There was a little noise on Friday evening, but then you would expect that at a pub. "

"A pleasant boutique style hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite but unfortunately it was clear they had not been properly trained in table service and wine pouring. Apparently they have a temporary manager at present and it is clear they need an experienced and enthusiastic professional to maximise its potential. "

"The new owners have only been there since March 2024 so any previous reviews are for others and not relevant. Customer service was second to none and couldn't have been better. Very accommodating to dietary requirements. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Lovely atmosphere. Decor is a little tired in places but easily remedied. Shower pressure in my room was very low but others in our group were happy with theirs."

"Absolutely beautiful, the rooms have so much character, exceptionally comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, lovely and quiet. The best breakfast ever and the three course, Saturday night dinner, deserves a Michelin Star. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay, just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The hosts, Elvira and David are so friendly and welcoming, loved every minute of our stay. Thank you so much, we will be back. "

"A few toothing problems upon arrival, but the host sorted. The room was generally comfy and clean, but could do with abit of TLC to make look better. Radiator wasn't consistently working, which was not nice in the morning. "

"Was excellent for the location (two blocks from Anfield and right across the street from the Sandon.) However, the house WiFi does not work in unit #6, so that was a bit of a disappointment, although not a disaster."

"The staff were very friendly. Told us how to get into the property because we arrived past due usual check in time. The room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean and the kitchen was stocked up on breakfast items. I think the only couple of negatives were that the steps up to the door are steep so you do have to watch your step. And the other would be noise, partly from construction nearby which isnt the landlord fault and people coming in and out at various times and the door slamming which...

"This is an excellent B and B. Clean, quiet, safe, affordable and comfortable. It is a bit remote, in a little village, so do take care when driving to it. Our Driving app directed us through some single lane, gravel roads because that was the shortest way. But you don’t have to do that, as we discovered. "

"Lovely room and excellent communication for arrival etc. The reason I can’t give 5 stars is because of the poor breakfast offering. With the exception of the yogurt pots and fruit (which was grapes and a few blueberries) everything else was ultra processed (bread, cereal). Usually I’d have porridge. There was prepackaged chocolate porridge which gives you a sense of the rest. The coffee machine was one of those that you get at a petrol station - which you don’t expect these days in a good b&b....
