「We stayed in The Hatchery at Klettar, which appears to be one of a few guesthouses on the property. The location was peaceful, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Once we had the directions from the host and used Google Maps, it was easy to find. The Hatchery is the furthest on the property, but there are signs to guide you! 「We really loved this place. It is in the middle of nowhere - but everything in Iceland kind of is. It was so peaceful here. The cottage was bigger than i imagined. The kitchen has basics like salt/pepper/oil. Close to the famous golden circle destinations so you get an early start in the loop before the rest of the tourists join in.」

「We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! 」

「Maybe one of our favorite places. Enough space for 5 of us. Very clean and neat and just enough furniture. Great hot tub with views. There were not very many food places nearby but we drove out for dinner. The kitchen was great too if you’d like to cook. Great sleep. Nice windows everywhere. 」
