Cateechee offers old southern charm. Although we did not play their course, from what we could see the greens looked beautiful and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and their rooms comfortable.

I did not like the fact you had to share the common area Living room and kitchen with 3 other suites. Another group occupied the other 3 units and were very rude. We had reservations for 2 nights, but only stayed 1. It was worth the extra exspense to switch to a different hotel for the 2nd night

Almost like home
Very nice and comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Says breakfast buffet, but since covid, they have a refrigerator with sodas, water, fruit, yogurt and a basket with muffins and granola bars complimentary.

Great place to stay and relax.
Room was very comfortable. There are a limited number of bedrooms opening into a sitting / tv room. The restaurant has a great southern style with excellent service staff. Highly recommend the restaurant if you are in the area.

A sparkling clean room with a most comfortable bed. Good hot shower with excellent water pressure. Decent gym. My teen enjoyed the loop around the golf course on a golf cart. The big disappointment was the lack of a real breakfast. Cateechee is known for their fine dining. Alas! The restaurant was closed when we stayed. The pre-packaged muffins had no expiry date and we didn’t touch them. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels in third world countries with better breakfasts. Oh, and the place is deserted at night; so I wouldn’t stay there as a lone female

Staff made two major billing mistakes. overcharging! When they realized the mistakes they did not make it right for the client.

Valentine’s gateway
I was looking for a remote place to go for Valentine’s weekend and found this hotel with great reviews and espectacular views. It turned out that our room didn’t have any views and some of the photos were from a separate property they also have. Cody fixed everything for us to finish our Valentine’s weekend in a very romantic style!

Not only the property is simply beautiful, but Cody at the front desk is amazing! We were there for 3 days and he was always happy and enthusiastic. He made us feel great and welcome. The cleaning guidelines are perfect during this hard time.
