"The staff were excellent. A really charismatic manager at the desk checked us in, recommended a few pubs and even pulled out a deck of cards out of his pocket to show us a magic trick. The rest of the staff, from the cleaning staff, to the bar staff were all really friendly and chatty. Definitely the highlight of the stay. My only minor complaint was the amount of construction noise happening during the refurb of some of the rooms in a hotel. There were skips being emptied at quite unsociable hours that woke us all up. "
