The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pathetic. OJ and coffee ok, but no bread for the toaster. It was acceptable for our needs, but not much more.

Couldn’t get the TV to come on then the remote wouldn’t work to turn the TV on or off or do the volume. There was rust all on the door frame in the bathroom. The curtains were all ripped up and had warm water not hot until they fixed it. Room smelled musky.

This place is absolutely disgusting! Dead spiders on the walls, stains all over the carpet, and the entire place reeks of cigarette smoke. They were super under staffed, but the staff were friendly. When we opened the door to our room, it had not been cleaned at all! Beds all unmade, towels everywhere. They had to give us a different room. Do not stay here unless you have to, which is what happened to us.

Large cobwebs everywhere, dirty pillows and bedsheets. Hair and dust on everything the tub had hair in it the floors weren't vacuumed had stuff and candle all over the floor when we got here. One of the dirtiest I've been in, will not stay at this hotel again.

Terrible stay
Well for starters the refrigerator nor microwave worked and after telling them More than once, housekeeping then asked my pregnant girlfriend to help move one from the other room if we wanted one. On top of that the first night there were two roaches in the bathroom. Displeased and won’t be staying here again the milk is so watered down you can’t even use it for cereal

Review from 2 adults under 30 with 1 baby under 1. Con- Odd syringe outside in the parking lot. (Photo taken). Rusted shower head mount. (Photo taken). Windows open in the pool room/mold in the pool room, pool cold. Soda machine out of order. No freezer in fridge. Bathtub questionably unclean- did not use. Pro- Staff friendly/accommodating. Great bed/bed frame, dresser, microwave, fridge, sink, multiple locks on door. TV on the smaller side but great quality and sound. Perfect heat/AC unit.

It was quiet around area and if you like to shop farm stores it's great. I maybe old school, but I think that if someone is staying over 2 days you should not have to ask to have your room cleaned and fresh linen installed.

I seen people leaving bad reviews but my experience was very nice. The girl that helped me check in went above and beyond. The bed had clean sheets and the bed itself was pretty soft (no trace of bed bugs). The carpets looked a little rough and the shower confused me at first but overall for $80 bucks I can't complain at all. I do wish they would of had a hot breakfast and not a grab and go breakfast but in a small town it's probably hard to find employees willing to work, let alone cook and clean the dishes etc..

The smell in the room was terrible. There was sticky stuff all over the floors in the hall. Tried to open fridge and it fell over into my lap.. I put all my groceries in the it and figured out next morning it wasn't working so all my food went bad costing me money. Staff was polite

Room good. Clean. Quite. Both bed were EXTREMELY comfortable. The free breakfast was not ok.Both cereals were stale. Individually wrapped pastry we didnt try. Apples were ok. Coffee tasted like is was more than 48 hrs in the the pot.

Room was pretty clean. The shower curtain was not real clean and the toilet seat was unstable, but was useable. The hotel advertised a hot breakfast on their website, but delivered danish rolls and coffee, juice, and two kinds of cold cereal - very disappointing. Staff was friendly.

We had a non-smoking room but the upstairs hallway reeked with smoke and it drifted into our room. Don't be fooled by photos of the waffle breakfast. No waffles--only photos of waffles on the wall. Stale cereal, honey buns in plastic wrap, juice. Coffee was great! Pool is tiny--don't pan on doing laps. Beds great!

Lack of staff here a real black mark!
Check in was horrendous. I was expected to sign a credit card receipt of a number that I was told was a virtual Expedia # for more than I had prepaid. I spoke with the manager who was very rude. The poor girl at the desk was the only one in the building. Hotels.com finally called motel & settled it & I didn't have to sign. TV in 1st room didn't work. Poor girl lugged in a working set which didn't work in my room. I was moved to another room. People were yelling from lobby to check in. I felt very bad for her. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was advertised....WRONG! Not even bread for toast! 2 choices of cold cereal. There were apples & pre packaged rolls? Juice dispenser listed orange & cranberry, but cranberry squirted out a few drops of icky water. There was catsup! For my coffee? Thank goodness there was decent hot coffee because that was the only thing that was hot about the breakfast. The women who work there should have medals. Each one was pleasant and did her best with no help at all. I was concerned about my security as the motel is off the beaten path and there was a very evident lack of staff. Too bad because the location is good for Garden of the Gods. It could be a great place to stay.

Worst place I’ve been so far. The shower didn’t work the room was at 90 degrees when we enter and took 2 hours to cool down and specially…the breakfast was the worst joke in my life just coffee a soggy packed cinnamon roll and…that’s it!!!! For a miserable Quality inn at $100 is a shameful and disgrace for a brand to get a franchisee like this one. I had much better breakfast in very small towns in a super 8. Please please skip Harrisburg, I’ll.

The room was overall comfortable. Not squeaky clean though. The shower functionality was very annoying and uncomfortable to use. They could use some improvement. The town of Harrisburg, during our stay was under boiling waiter-water restriction usage but the manager of the hotel was not even aware of it. They could have been a little more pro-active.

Our rooms were very dirty. Our rooms' bathrooms had not been cleaned.There was hair and dirt on the floor in the bathroom and the toilets were dirty.The breakfast was a joke. There were pre packaged Honey buns and cranberry juice with some apples and oranges and coffee. That was it. They didn't have any milk for children. The owner parked his car by the front door. Had to ask him to move it so we could load the car when we were leaving!

Stay was okay. Disappointment in that some things not as expected per Hotel.com detail. Stated no handicap room; there was a king bed handicap room there. Stated full breakfast; there was only limited coffee, juice, and generic rolls. Will call and confirm all that's important in future.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

We want our guests to enjoy their stay and find our AC and heat amenities to be clean and in perfect working condition. Our ultimate goal is for our guests to be comfortable both in the summertime, and in the winter. Our maintenance staff has a regular schedule dedicated to checking the working order of appliances, the state of the furniture in the rooms, and bathroom fixtures. I am sorry that we failed to do this during your most recent stay. I am especially upset to hear that the situation was not addressed right away.

The hotel advertised full breakfast, they are not. Coffee and a honey bun. Still in full Covid mode. Carpets are filthy, especially in hall ways. Toilet ran all night, sink procelain was busted. Crickets in the bathroom. Linen was stain and bedspread was dirty.

Hello mark, I am very sorry that you smelled smoke - of any kind - at our property. We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

Average stay but no flare!
It was an average stay with no access to the pool. Nice staff, but was there just for the night. No breakfast except for some coffee, which I don’t drink.

I went on a road trip with my family to Shawnee National Forest so I booked a stay at the Quality Inn. When we first walked in the room, it smelled like pee and wet rags. The pillows and blankets had yellow stains on them. The carpet was dirty. The towels had yellow stains and smelled like they had not been washed. The refrigerator made a constant buzzing sound and it shook the T.V. stand that it was under. The walls had brown marks on them. On one occasion, I was sleeping and heard a loud bang on the door. My father, sleeping in the other bed, asked who was at the door. The staff had tried to open our hotel room without our permission. It was a really scary experience. Overall, my stay at the Quality Inn was uncomfortable and regretful. I will not be staying there again.

There was no continental breakfast at all. The sign in the room says they will change linens and towels every 3 days. This is not true when we checked in were told they will not change anything or clean the room unless you request it. Also there was a mouse in the room. It came running across the floor.
